Role of ICT in Shaping the Future of Pakistani Higher Education SystemZaffar Ahmed Shaikh
This study examined the challenges faced by the Pakistani higher education system (HES) in integrating information and communication technology (ICT); it aimed at understanding ICT needs, measuring the increase in ICT demand, determining the relationship between ICT and HES performance, and understanding how the HES copes with the challenges of implementing ICT. The results of these analyses were used as the basis to suggest solutions. The normative Delphi method was applied to evaluate a sample of 30 HES experts randomly selected from urban and rural areas of Pakistan by administering a literature-based 35-item questionnaire. The
experts revealed significant gaps in ICT demand and supply, ICT use, ICT-based higher education problems, and reasons for delays in ICT integration and provided suggestions for developing ICT-driven HES in Pakistan. This
study’s findings suggest that an effective and robust HES ICT policy could greatly improve the status of the Pakistani knowledge-based economy, thus helping establish ICT policy and planning, administration, and integration at the higher education level.

In line with the Government's goal of promoting and enhancing Education in The Philippines, there are other factors that also need to be addressed such as managing the enrollment system every semester and year. With limited manpower in each and every University, accommodating a large number of students is a tough challenge, not to mention managing the data and funds, both sent and paid, which are still mostly manually processed. The situation in the Philippines is similar to many other countries.
Unifinity Application is an Edtech at its core where the Application is created to help the other institutions who can’t afford to pay for expensive software cost. Unifinity aims to provide the solution to Government schools which relatively host 87% of the population of the students are enrolled on a Government institution while the rest of the students are enrolled in Middle-Class schools which are Semi-Private and the rest will be in a Private Class where the population of the students belongs to the First Class.
Unifinity aims to support the Institutions and Students who can't afford to pay for their school fees by giving them access to an application that offers accessibility by using their mobile phones and they can still attend the class, study even at home, making sure that the students will never miss a single lesson submitted by the teachers and the students can still study at home without the need of downloading an application.
Unifinity aims to create the first blockchain-based decentralized application (Dapp) built to enhance security, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and transparency in the entire value chain of educational institutions.
Blockchain technology can be used as a powerful tool to improve the current education system by creating a simplified process and automation of all administrative processes including the authentication of data and identity of users as well as Tokenizing the traditional grading system by utilizing the smart contract on issuing remarks using ERC777 Tokens.

STAKEHOLDERS’ DILEMMA AND ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP ON THE DIFFERENT COMPUTING DISC...IJITE
There is significant overlap between the uniqueness of the disciplines that has complicated trainers, learners and business community’s choice between the different disciplines. As computing has rapidly evolved its different disciplines has equally expanded in the academic community. The distinction between disciplines by the trainers is purposed to provide unique skills to serve unique needs of employers and
society needs. For the business community to receive the best from the products of the programs therefore, it needs to understand what each of the different types of programs provides to meet their needs. This paper presents the results of a survey to determine if stakeholders were able to differentiate between computing disciplines and the level of academic leadership available. The findings of this paper make it clearer the distinct uniqueness of the different computing disciplines. The study found out the computing disciplines are each unique to themselves although there exists an overlap over the content covered. The study established that the stakeholders are not very clear of the difference between the computing disciplines. It also established that some universities have while others do not have academic leadership in the computing disciplines. When the practitioners are very clear on the differences between the different computing
disciplines they are most likely to choose the correct employee, training as well as provide the correct training of the relevant discipline. The implication of the findings being that most likely organizations may not be receiving to best returns from the computing human resource employed as a result of hiring those
not best suited for their tasks. Based on the findings of this research, further research can be undertaken on the various curriculum offered by universities to ascertain whether the unique computing disciplines are apparent in them.
ANALYTICAL STUDY OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND RURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIPIAEME Publication
Rural development is main aspect to develop a rustic India as over 50 % population lives in rural outskirts. The scenario isn't different at national level. This is often the most reason that the majority of the event schemes prepared to stay such facts as a main focus. An assessment for rural Rajasthan is to induce prepare the youths of generative and skilled on a contemporary parameter of livelihood and employment. The most target of such systematic preparation is to synchronically employ the functioning populace within the unorganized perimeters. Unorganized sector or grey economy bestows around 50 percent of the Rajasthan's GDP. In fact, it employs workers in, unpaid family work, micro and small enterprises, casual labour and home-based work on an honest scale. Within the same context, it also engages migrant labourers, farmers of lean agriculture season and more precisely drop-out of rural youth from schools. As per Indian Staffing Federation Report (2019), Period of 2015 to 2018, Skill India Mission contribution is 9.3 Lacs formal workforce and 70 thousand recruitments (Rituparna Chakraborty, 2019). If we focus from the last couple of years, the Indian economy has attestation of a structural transformation from agrarian process to manufacturing and various service-oriented activities. Similarly, this also made impact on the economy of Rajasthan. Rural development is facing a paradoxical situation where the youth of the rural areas are leaving the agrarian work and moving into the labour market for searching the jobs; on the opposite hand, industries are complaining of unavailability of appropriately and contemporary skilled manpower. This paradox reflects the criticality of rural development in context of need identification, to boost the employability of the growing young population and also to gear-up the economy to understand the target of faster and inclusive growth with innovative CSR contribution.

The authors report the results of an empirical research study carried out, how the
employee competencies will effect Performance Management System in IT Enabled
Service companies. A survey of 900 employees working in IT Enabled Service
companies around Hyderabad Metro consisting of 550 men and 350 women employees
using a structured questionnaire was carried out. The study empirically measured the
effect of four independent variables, the employee competencies– personal
competencies, knowledge level competencies, job-related competencies and
communication and interpersonal competencies on a dependent variable performance
management system in IT Enabled Services companies

Developing skills and competencies for life and work – what role digital tech...Dominic Orr
Long version of presentation at UNESCO Mobile Learning Week. The argument is that we have to think about what to learn and to encourage frequent participation in learning. The question is how to encourage people, who tend not to participate - these are usually those who have a lower level of formal education and are older. However, these two groups are most likely to be affected by automation and other changes to our economies. Recognising people's acquired skill level through digital badges and connecting these to recognition pathways can be a way to ensure empower all learner groups - and to aid skills matching in the labour market.

Earl Pace and David Wimberly founded BDPA in November 1975 as a local association. Within three years, the founders grew BDPA into a national organization with chapters in Philadelphia, Washington DC and Cleveland.
Today, there are 45 chapters throughout the United States. One part of the BDPA legacy is our Student Information Technology & Scholarship (SITES) program. This is a program that enriches the educational opportunities for our students in an after-school program of technology training with a focus on low-and moderate-income communities.
BDPA established the Student Information Technology & Scholarship (SITES) program to teach advanced computer science and community responsibility to students from historically disadvantaged communities. BDPA has provided meaningful STEM experiences to over 10,000 since the beginning of the SITES program … with over 1,700 students having a chance to compete in our national High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championships. We are proud to have given out over 150 college scholarships to well-deserving students in our SITES program.
There are three major components of our SITES program that impact on the educational future of K-12 students:
1. Computer Camps
2. High School Computer Competition (HSCC)
3. IT Showcase
Most of our 45 local BDPA chapters run youth education programs that provide science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curriculum and experiences on Saturdays for young people of color. These training programs host an average of 24 students for anywhere for up to 20 weeks and inspire our young people to become interested in BDPA and in the potential of a future course of study that focuses on STEM-based building blocks.

EDUCATION AND WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY - Robin hood movement seeks equity and adequacy in funding from White house for CTE-TECH PREP Rigorous Programs of Study (R-POS) for the Nation’s P-20 education students & adults from White House.
At issue, contrary to OSTP’s Open Government Plan, public comments and specifically supporting enclosures related to the role of Career and Technical Education (formally, vocational education) in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) were ignored and not appropriately incorporated into the public record by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). Although delivered as parcel to the OSTP call for public comments, RE: PCAST STEM Meeting 10.22-23, 2009, Two Minute Public Comment Letter, the following items submitted by Brazell, et. al., were not included by OSTP-PCAST in the public record:
1) Co-author’s were redacted from the letter sent to PCAST;
2) The white paper delivered in the same document as the three minute testimony letter was redacted, while other’s giving testimony reflect their white papers and related research references in the PCAST public record;
3) 570 pages of powerpoint slides including research on select TECH PREP model CTE programs were not appropriately submitted to the public record including a) From STEM to TEAMS a US educational innovation strategy which unifies the houses of academia, vocational learning and the arts and b) US TEAMS Economic Development, S&T R&D, Workforce and Education Strategy for STEM, IT and Arts, A/V Technology and Communications Clusters; and,
4) Jim white paper is not reflected in the record, What is next long term growth strategy to face the financial crisis? Transdisciplinary places, industries, technologies, work and education.
The public record includes letters submitted to PCAST including Jim’s redacted response. BDPA has provided meaningful STEM experiences to over 10,000 since the beginning of the SITES program … with over 1,700 students having a chance to compete in our national High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championships. We are proud to have given out over 150 college scholarships to well-deserving students in our SITES program.
There are three major components of our SITES program that impact on the educational future of K-12 students:

2. High School Computer Competition (HSCC)
3. IT Showcase
Most of our 45 local BDPA chapters run youth education programs that provide science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curriculum and experiences on Saturdays for young people of color. These training programs host an average of 24 students for anywhere for up to 20 weeks and inspire our young people to become interested in BDPA and in the potential of a future course of study that focuses on STEM-based building blocks.

MARCH 29, 2014, SAN ANTONIO, TX: A SPUTNIK MOMENT FOR U.S. STEM. EDUCATION AND WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY - Robin hood movement seeks equity and adequacy in funding from White house for CTE-TECH PREP Rigorous Programs of Study (R-POS) for the Nation’s P-20 education students & adults from White House.
At issue, contrary to OSTP’s Open Government Plan, public comments and specifically supporting enclosures related to the role of Career and Technical Education (formally, vocational education) in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) were ignored and not appropriately incorporated into the public record by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). Although delivered as parcel to the OSTP call for public comments, RE: PCAST STEM Meeting 10.22-23, 2009, Two Minute Public Comment Letter, the following items submitted by Brazell, et. al., were not included by OSTP-PCAST in the public record:
1) Co-author’s were redacted from the letter sent to PCAST;
2) The white paper delivered in the same document as the three minute testimony letter was redacted, while other’s giving testimony reflect their white papers and related research references in the PCAST public record;
3) 570 pages of powerpoint slides including research on select TECH PREP model CTE programs were not appropriately submitted to the public record including a) From STEM to TEAMS a US educational innovation strategy which unifies the houses of academia, vocational learning and the arts and b) US TEAMS Economic Development, S&T R&D, Workforce and Education Strategy for STEM, IT and Arts, A/V Technology and Communications Clusters; and,
4) Jim white paper is not reflected in the record, What is next long term growth strategy to face the financial crisis? Transdisciplinary places, industries, technologies, work and education.
The public record includes letters submitted to PCAST including Jim’s redacted response. By comparison, Jim’s original letter includes a list of supporters and editors, a draft white paper written for the committee in one (1) week with academic references, and the items above referenced within the Public Comments submitted to PCAST.

Institute sponsored a policy briefing for the U.S.
House of Representatives' STEMEducation Caucus
today to raise awareness of the challenges our nation
faces in developing an educated and diverse STEM
workforce.
Last year, ITT Tech introduced STEM (science,
technology, engineering, mathematics) opportunities
to more than 4,500 high school students. For many, it
was a student's first exposure to STEM fields,which
are now among the nation's most in-demand jobs,
according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

about a solid postsecondaryeducation plan," said
Presidentand COO of ITT Educational Services,Inc.,
Eugene Feichtner. "Engaging young adults in STEM
opportunities typically requires hands-on activities

Feichtner noted that the opportunities provided by
ITT Tech are nationally in demand, and ongoing at
more than 130 campuses nationwide, including:
Offering degree programs in STEM-related
fields where job growth is projected to exceed
the national average;
Hosting College STEMCareer Days that offer
hands-on lab and team-building experiences for
high school students; and
Supporting innovative robotics challenges for
middle to high school students in the
community, which oftenrely on qualified
volunteers and mentors.
Expanding the reach of STEM opportunities is critical
for the United States' economy.STEM job creation
over the next 10 years will outpace that of non-STEM
significantly, growing 17 percent, as compared to 9.8
percentfor non-STEM positions,according to the
National Math and Science Initiative.
Currently, about 90 percent of ITT Technical Institute
students are enrolled in programs of study in a
STEM-related field. Many ITT Tech programs can be
completedin two years, with career-related and
technical associate degree programs that provide the
necessaryknowledge and skills to help meet the
growing demand for an educated STEM workforce.
ITT Tech also brings high schoolstudents on campus
and into a lab-based learning environment with
faculty during its nationwide College STEMCareer
3. Days. These workshops stress the importance and
value of pursuing a STEM education, exploring
career opportunities and requirements,evaluating
college choices,learning about financial aid and
participating in interactive STEM demonstrations.
ITT Tech Directorof Recruitment Michael Sekol said
there is demand for quality STEM opportunities for
high school students. At his Youngstown, Ohio,
campus, he said area schools are looking for outside
guidance and assistance. "Many high schools just
don't have the resources to offerSTEM electives," he
said.
Additionally, ITT Tech supports organizations that are
already working in the community, such as FIRST,an
organization committed to inspiring young people's
interest and participation in science and technology.
Michelle Phelps,an ITT Tech campus director,is on
the planning committee forone of the largest FIRST
Robotics Competitionregional events involving 66
competing teams in Myrtle Beach, S.C. "The local
FIRST competitiondefinitely opens doors for
mentorship and students' exposure to STEM," she
said. "And ITT Tech faculty and students are there to
mentor, coach, and volunteer along the way."
At ITT Tech's campus in Henderson, Nev., School of
IT Chair Rekha Subramanian and several of her
students mentor at schools in the Clark County
SchoolDistrict. She's seen middle schoolstudents
thrive in the team-building experience of robotics
competition."Once you turn the light bulb on, it stays
on," she said.
Many of ITT Tech's faculty and students volunteer for
STEM programs filling a critical need for national
groups looking for mentors.Various national studies
show that the likelihood of pursuing a STEM degree

experiences with mentorship, especiallyfor girls and
