Sam Walton was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma in 1924 and went to Hickman High School and the University of Missouri, Columbia. He married Helen Robson and had four children - Jim C. Walton, John T. Walton, S. Robson Walton, and Alice Walton. Sam Walton opened the first Wal-Mart store in 1962 and passed away in 1992 from Multiple Myeloma, with S. Robson Walton now running Wal-Mart.

Stan Lee was born in Manhattan, New York in 1922 and grew up there, attending DeWitt Clinton High School. He joined the WPA Federal Theatre Project where he learned and got the idea to create movies. Stan Lee married Joan Clayton and they had two daughters, Joan Celia Lee and Jan Lee. Stan Lee created popular superheroes for Marvel Comics like Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and X-Men and made cameo appearances in Marvel movie adaptations.

Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York in February 17. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and joined the NBA. Jordan is married to Yvette Prieto and has five children. He became famous for his basketball career and popular Air Jordan shoes which cost $70 or more. His father James Jordan passed away after being murdered while his mother Deloris Peoples is still alive. The author chose to write about Michael Jordan because he was the best basketball player and designs popular shoes.

Come and Tech It! PD Program

ThingLink is a platform and mobile app that allows users to create interactive images by adding additional media like videos, audio, and web links directly onto images. In the classroom, ThingLink can be used to create interactive reports where students add supplemental materials to an image to illustrate a topic. It can also be used for interactive book talks where students record themselves discussing a book and link to its cover image. Sharing your passwords is not recommended • If you must log out before you complete the assessment the system will save the answers you have already selected. • Only the District, Campus, and Help Desk Administrators can see user names. • Your scores on the Teacher Survey are confidential; you can print your survey if you would like to have a copy for your records. • The STaR Chart survey will assist our district in making plans for future technology plans and staff development.

Teacher STaR Chart Step Set available on November 25, 2013 in the Campus Share Drive. Certified Instructional Staff must complete STaR Chart on or BEFORE December 18, 2013. Campus Principals must complete Campus STaR Chart by January 6, 2014. Log-ins and instructions can be found in the campus share drive.
