judication, late payment case issues, benefit application issues in PAR and NPAR scenarios for HIX/OD
S contracts. Fix had made to a major defect in COPAY and deductible amount inclusion into OOP (out
of pocket) ACCUM.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Analyzing, Designing and Coding programs.
 Preparing Test plans, conducting testing, delivering test results
 Development phase activities for respective tracks assigned
 Debugging COBOLapplications
 Conducting post implementation reviews and support during implementations
 Help and guide the new team members in the team
 Perform lead activities and schedule the tasks
 Created all needed migration and turnover documents

Medical Rule Redesign (MRR)
MRR is dealing with the medical rules in claimprocessing system. MRR handles medical rules, busines
s rules and Line of business (LOB) rules of different types for claims rule matching process. MRR plays i
mportant role in the claimlife cycle and claimprocessing by setting different rules for holding a claim
from processing, reject a claim, apply benefit to a claim, generates EOB and ACCUMs for a claim, Utili
zation management and pre-authorization management of a claim, deny a claim. MRR projects were i
mplemented to improve the performance of the medical rule matching using advanced redesign tech
niques. MRR projects achieved a performance improvement of 40% in rule matching and hence impro
vement in claimprocessing performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Analyzing, Designing and Coding programs
 Preparing Test plans, conducting testing, delivering test results
 Development phase activities for respective tracks assigned
 Debugging COBOLapplications
 Conducting post implementation reviews and support during implementations
 Help and guide the new team members in the team
 Perform lead activities and schedule the tasks
 Created all needed migration and turnover documents
