Meet our new director!
Hello TeamREC!
I am Bob Holub, the new Director of Campus Recreation at Marshall University. I am thrilled to be joining
such an outstanding team and supporting you all in your roles as our student leaders and front line staff. More
than 11 years ago I was in a similar position as all of you working in Campus Recreation as a student employee.
Today, because of my experiences in roles like yours, I hope to be a better leader for our department.
Our professional staff has extremely high expectations of our department, of ourselves and of each of you.
Working at The Rec means you are seen around town, on campus and in the community as part of our team;
something you need to take very seriously and hopefully brings a sense of pride to each of you. Although
everyone has a different title, schedule or role, we expect our entire staff to model themselves after our core
values and focus on Customer Service, Risk Management and Health Lifestyles.
Again, I am very excited to join you as we start this academic year and moving forward. My door is always
open to suggestions, comments or just to say hello – please feel free to stop by!
Thanks for doing what you do and making Marshall Campus Recreation the great department that it is!
GO HERD!
Bob
