Stadium Arcadium
          Deconstruction
 This is the deconstruction of the Stadium
Arcadium digipack by Red Hot Chili
    Peppers.
 The band consists of founding members
  Anthony Kiedis (vocals) and Michael
Balzary on Bass. Chad Smith also joined
and plays Drums and in 2009 the band
was joined by Josh Kinghoffer on Guitar
  after John Frusciante.
 The Band have won seven Grammy
awards and sold over 80 million albums
worldwide. In 2012 they were inducted
into the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Back
 The album is split into two separate CD’s
one being named after the planet Jupiter
and one named after the planet Mars.
 In Greek mythology the planet Jupiter
was known as King of the Gods and God
  of the sky.
 The second CD is named after Mars. Mars,
in Greek mythology was a Roman God of
  war

Continued
In theory the band saw the coming
together of the two albums a unity of
both experimental, complicated and
simplistic music, and a mythodical war
between the gods Jupiter and
Mars, being the biggest battle of
time, therefore naming the double
album Stadium Arcadium to show the
fighting mentality of the Greek gods in
(stadium).
 The back cover is a photo of all four
members of the band shining out of a
  dark background.
 The band are covered in red feathers, this
is to perhaps show close links with Mother
Nature. However it is very different to the
front cover which has a space theme.
 The back cover presents the track listing
and credits the Producer, mixers and
  album artwork personnel.

Back
 My genre research showed me that
alternative rock albums are often concept
based albums and this follows this theme
    with a space themed background.
 The words ‘Stadium Arcadium’ are the center
piece of the artwork in large yellow font with
a space like ring around it.
 In a smaller font above it it says the band
    name.
 The space themed background may be used
to tell the audience there may be spacey
    vibes.

Front
 The front left is very dissimilar to the front
and back cover. It’s a largely dark
background with a flame or explosion
emerging from the bottom left corner.

Inside left.
The inside middle follows on from the
explosion theme. There are items on fire
such as Drum kits with debris flying around.
The CD’s are different colours, Jupiter is
Blue with a silver ring around the rim and
Mars is similar but a dark red instead of
blue.

Inside Middle
 On the inside right is a graphic of a
planet, on the lefthand side you have
Jupiter, which as you move right slowly
mergers into Mars. In the Mars hand is
says ‘Jupiter is a small white font.
