The Special Services Group (SSG) of Pakistan was established in 1950 and has since undergone changes to its name, locations, and training. It is comprised of 10 commando battalions that are specialized in close quarter combat, explosives training, and counterterrorism operations. The SSG is based out of Charat and is considered Pakistan's elite special forces, known for their bravery and sacrifices for the nation. They are well-equipped with modern weapons and have been actively conducting anti-terrorism operations along Pakistan's western borders.
