This study was based on the approach laid for future study by the project Ergonomic Evaluation of Indian Style Toilet in Indian Railways’ Duronto Train. In brief, Ergonomic Evaluation of Indian Style Toilet in Indian Railways’ Duronto Train dealt with the ergonomic evaluation of Indian style toilet in Duronto train. The purpose of Ergonomic Evaluation of Indian Style Toilet in Indian Railways’ Duronto Train project was to do a preliminary ergonomic evaluation so as to suggest probable solutions to reduce the dissatisfaction of a person after using the toilet and to lay an approach for future ergonomic study. Readers were encouraged to read Ergonomic Evaluation of Indian Style Toilet in Indian Railways’ Duronto Train beforehand so as to get a comprehensive understanding of this project.
This project carried on further by suggesting a design for the interiors of Indian style toilet in Duronto train by keeping in mind the main activities performed inside a toilet. These activities were studied in Ergonomic Evaluation of Indian Style Toilet in Indian Railways’ Duronto Train. A suggestive design solution was made for the interior of the train toilet based on ergonomic design principles and anthropometric data of Indian population.

Climatic Design of Vernacular Homes in Kenya to Meet Requirements of Modern L...paperpublications3
Abstract: Neglection of climatic conditions in buildings have resulted to severe energy loss throughout Kenya with its climatic conditions. The results of excess consumption of fuels have an impact on the environment pollution. The aim of the research is to look back to Kenya’s vernacular homes and reflect how they were designed to shelter them from climatic conditions and how interpretation can be made to meet the requirements of modern living. Vernacular homes were chosen in comparison with modern building because their main characteristics is that they are designed with a deep understanding and respect towards nature. The research will be based on three major ethnic groups’ vernacular homes, which are the Maasai, Rendile and Taita. With the awareness of global environment vernacular homes in Kenya can be designed to meet the requirements of the modern living and us a result bring back the identity, culture and environment of the place itself.

Well Google's done it again.
A new algorithm change - what does that mean?
Google changes how it presents content in its search results regularly, to improve the quality of its results and to penalize sites that are trying to game the system.

Large catastrophes often trigger international humanitarian response. This is a particular context in which many independent actors, including governmental agencies (e.g. search and rescue teams), non-governmental organizations (NGO’s such as Doctors Without Borders), corporations (e.g. Google or Microsoft) and international organizations (including the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) work together to provide first response and subsequent relief and reconstruction assistance. In the absence of a clear command and control structure, situational awareness needs to be acquired by each actor independently. Needless to say that this community is eager to develop and use technology and systems to acquire and share information, and that collaboration and information sharing is generally considered as mutually benefitting.
In the early onset of disasters, information is sparse. Traditionally, there are three main sources of information: scientific monitoring systems (e.g. seismological or meteorological networks), official information (briefings by the local emergency management agency) and media reports. Information management for each source requires different technological solutions, respectively focused on modelling, web portals for information sharing, and linguistic processing. However, more recently a fourth source of information is becoming available through Web 2.0: information from citizens, sometimes labelled crowd-sourcing. In case of a disaster, local (and remote) citizens can and do provide information (e.g. eyewitness reports) or analysis (e.g. compiling reports in an information feed). However, this fourth source is not widely used yet by emergency managers because the reliability of the information is not well understood and hard to assess in a time-critical environment.
