 I was born in Myronivka in May,
1978.
 Later on I left Myronivka for
Vyshgorod where I spent 6 years
studying at school and then I
entered Kyiv Pedagogical
University in 1995 from which I
graduated in 2000 and acquired an
appropriate knowledge for a
Specialist Degree.
 And now I am a teacher of English
– and it sounds just great!
Fact files
And this is my school!
And I am proud to say that!
But before I stepped over its threshold I had been
translating and interpreting for more than 9 years.
And it gave me neither
feelings nor emotions.
But now I just burst out with them!!!
Lots of them!!! A great variety of them!!!
Teacher’s job gradually becomes the
part of my life.
These are my kids, my little students
and our lessons!!!
At our lessons we sing songs.
Songs are one of the best ways for children of this age to learn and remember
language. Singing songs builds confidence in the language through repetition and
promotes musical skills and development of rhythm.
Singing songs during the lessons is rather an encouraging way of English teaching
activity. It allows me to enlarge kids’ vocabulary in quite an easy manner. Since they
sing and play with a great pleasure.
 Games provide motivating and meaningful ways of practicing the
new language and are very popular with children. They also serve
to reinforce the vocabulary and structures that have been taught .
Play games
Unscramble sentences and songs
Become story –writers and story-
tellers
Children love stories because they are interesting and fun and
appeal to their imagination
ord and write your own story.
I like nightingales / sparrows!
They are
strong/weak/slow/fast and
beautiful/ugly.
They can/can’t
sing/squeak/roar.
They can climb/run/fly.
They live in the
sky/houses/trees/beehives.
They make nests
/cakes/mistakes.
They bring up /kiss/lick their
kids.
They are kind/angry and
friendly/shy.

Practice different grammar structures
When teaching grammar to young learners , it is best to avoid
the use of lengthy explanations , rules and metalanguage . It’s
better to focus attention on the target grammar using examples.
Enlarge our vocabulary
Use picture dictionary
 Improve our pronunciation
 Watch videos
 Act out dialogues and scenes
 And of course regularly recycle and review all the
vocabulary and structures that have been taught.
And never forget that:
