On 表示『接觸在某物體的表面上』ex: There’s a bird on the roof.
+ 表示『平地』或『大陸』的名詞 ex: The orientation will take place on campus this Monday.
+ 表示『線狀』或『線條』的名詞 ex: The Wang family live on that street.
補充說明
He is on his way home. (強調回家的那條路)
Excuse me! You are in my way. (你佔據了回家那條路的空間)
We met him at the station. (把火車站設定成某個定點)
People in the station are tired. (強調的是火車站那個空間)
