4. Online courses are equivalent to regular, in class courses. The difference
is that students don’t have to spend time commuting to class.
These courses are different than external course in that they require
more weekly interaction with the online course.
Online courses are highly interactive and there is a significant discussion
component to them. Depending on the professor, you will also be
required to log in a certain amount of times per week.
You can work on these classes at the times that are convenient to you
but you WILL HAVE DEADLINES of when assignments are due.
You should expect to dedicate 2 hours per credit per week towards
each online class you take. This includes online work including posts
and outside online work.
In order to participate successfully in an online course, you must have
reliable internet access, including an email account and access to
the web.
