2. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on
a field at the centre of which is a 20-metre (22-yard) pitch with a wicket at each end,
each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by
striking the ball bowled at the wicket with the bat, while
the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this and dismiss each player (so they
are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps
and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side catching the ball after it is hit by the
bat, but before it hits the ground. When ten players have been dismissed,
the innings ends and the teams swap roles. The game is adjudicated by two umpires,
aided by a third umpire and match referee in international matches..

3. Pehlwani
• Pehlwani is a form of wrestling contested in the Indian subcontinent. It was
developed in the Mughal Empire by combining Persian koshti pahlevani with
influences from native malla-yuddha. The words pehlwani and kushti derive from
the Persian terms pahlavani (heroic) and koshti (wrestling, lit. killing) respectively,
meaning Heroic wrestling. It is likely that the word derives from the Iranian word
"Pehalavi" denoting to people of Iranian descent.

4. Kabaddi
Kabaddi is a contact team sport, native to the Indian subcontinent,played between
two teams of seven players each. The objective of the game is for a single player on
offence, referred to as a "raider", to run into the opposing team's half of a court, tag
out as many of their defenders as possible, and return to their own half of the court,
all without being tackled by the defenders, and in a single breath. Points are scored
tagged by the raider, while the opposing team earns a point for stopping the raider.
Players are taken out of the game if they are tagged or tackled, but are brought back
in for each point scored by their team from a tag or tackle.

5. Field Hockey

Field hockey is a widely played team sport of the hockey family. The game can be played
on grass, watered turf, artificial turf or synthetic field, as well as an indoor boarded
surface. Each team plays with ten field players and a goalkeeper. Players commonly use
sticks made out of wood, carbon fibre, fibre glass or a combination of carbon fibre and
fibre glass in different quantities (with the higher carbon fibre stick being more expensive
and less likely to break) to hit a round, hard, plastic hockey ball. The length of the hockey
stick is based on the player's individual height, the top of the stick usually comes to the
players hip, taller players typically have taller sticks. The sticks have a round side and a
flat side only the flat face of the stick is allowed to be used, if the other side is used it
results in a foul. Goalies often have a different kind of stick, however they can also use an
ordinary field hockey stick.The specific goal-keeping sticks have another curve at the end
of the stick, this is to give them more surface area to save the ball

6. Tennis
• Tennis is a racket sport that can be played individually against a single
opponent (singles) or between two teams of two players each
(doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to
strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and
into the opponent's court. The object of the game is to maneuver the
ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return.
The player who is unable to return the ball will not gain a point, while
the opposite player will.

Football is a family of team sports that involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball to
score a goal. Unqualified, the word football normally means the form of football that
is the most popular where the word is used. Sports commonly
called football include association football (known as soccer in some
