Since the founding of the first Spiritual Center in 1973, we have been the center of community and daily life. Our centers are no different today. Services are usually held three times weekly:  Sunday mornings - 10:00am to 12:00 noon  Sunday afternoons - 2:00pm to 4:00pm  Wednesday evenings - 7:00pm to 9:00pm  Services last for approximately two hours and include:  chanting – helps to regulate the breath and settle the mind.  seated meditation (zazen) walking meditation (kinhin) Our standard order of service is:  chanting – 10 minutes zazen – 40 minutes kinhin – 10 minutes zazen – 40 minutes chanting – 10 minutes Service
Please support the center by becoming a member.  Center Membership is valid from January 1 through December 31 in the following amounts: $230  per family $115  per individual To become a member, please do the following: 1.  Pick up a membership form at the temple fill it out.  2.  Write a check payable to the center. 3.  Mail to or drop off at the office the form & check. Going Through Anger and Greed Seminar – Lecture and discussion about the seeker making his way through the fires of anger and floods of greed to reach the realm of spiritual liberation. Please join us for Center Clean-up as we prepare for a fresh start for the 2010 year. The last service of the year – a time of reflection and an opportunity to express gratitude to the blessings we’ve received. Following the service, Toshikoshi Soba (buckwheat noodles), signifying longevity, will be served. For more information, please contact the church during main center hours. Upcoming Events
