Rabbi Mitchell is Chaplain for Life Choice Hospice, serving patients and their
families in eastern
Massachusetts. She also works with assisted living facilities doing counseling,
leading services, classes
and holiday programs. She teaches at local temples and officiates at life-cycle
events.
During this presentation, attendees will come to understand how our religious
beliefs and traditions, along
with our cultural backgrounds effect end-of-life decisions and care. Rabbi Carol

Choice Hospice will discuss why it is essential that care-givers understand
cultural and religious differences
in order to provide the most appropriate and sensitive care.
