Corporate social responsibility refers to a company's responsibility towards society and includes economic, legal, and ethical responsibilities. According to the Companies Bill, companies must spend 2% of their average profits over the past 3 years on CSR activities regulated by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Suzlon has undertaken CSR activities like reducing anemia and child mortality, combating diseases, increasing literacy and education, providing water and solar energy, environmental conservation, and working in multiple states to achieve their goals.
