1) The document discusses how different blood types should follow different diets according to Dr. Peter D'Adamo's theory that lectins in foods can impact one's health depending on their blood type.
2) People with blood type O should follow a high-protein, low-carb diet with meat and fish but avoid dairy, wheat and grains. Blood type A's do best with a vegetarian diet avoiding dairy as well.
3) Blood type B has the fewest dietary restrictions while blood type AB should combine aspects of the diets for types A and B, mostly vegetarian with some meat and dairy occasionally.

1. GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD HEALTH
Assalamualaikum and very good morning to my lecturer Mr. Vijayanand all
myfriend. First of all, thanks for giving me the opportunity to give a speech today. I
would like to talk about good food for good health. As we know food will give us energy
but if we take it without controlling the calories, then it will becomes disease.
Therefore, before I talk about my topic, I want to give the some explanationof
health. Health is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living being. In
humans being, it is the general condition of a person in mind, body and spirit, usually
meaning to be free from illness, injury or pain and in the other words it was say as “good
health” or “healthy”. Furthermore, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined health
in its broader sense in 1946 as "a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-
being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity".
Ladies and gentleman,
If you stop and think for a moment about the foods you eat, you will see that they
can be classified into a number of broad categories namely fruit and vegetable group.
Secondly were grains and cereal group. Thirdly were milk and dairy group, meat fish
and egg group. Lastly were fat and oil group. According to the pyramid food table, if we
want to be healthy we must refer to food pyramid to ensure a better life.
For more knowledge, the most food should be taken is fruits and vegetables and
for food that should cut out to be healthy is the grains and cereal group. For fruits and
vegetables group, it was derived from living plants, are rich in health – promoting
nutrients such as beta-carotene, vitamin A and C, mineral, diet fiber and bioflavonoids.
Because of that they should be eaten in large quantities and everyone should try and
eat five or more portions a day. For the example, we can take an apple or an orange for
ours daily food after eat rice.
2. While for grains and cereal group, it is also called carbohydrate or starchy food
group. The theory have been state that carbohydrates in general and sugar in particular,
were the cause of all the ills that plague humanity especially obesity. There is a lot of
evidence that people who eat mainly unprocessed starches and carbohydrates cereal
and grains a very healthy and don‟t suffer from the disease associated with our life
style.
Ladies and gentlemen,
As a fact, according to Dr.PeterD‟Adamo author of Eat Right For Your Type,he
state that the chemical reaction occurs between your blood and the food you eat. This
reaction is a part of your genetic inheritance. It also caused by a factor called Lectins.
Lectins can abundant and diverse proteins found in foods also it have agglutinating
properties that affect your blood. So when you eat food containing protein, lectins that
are incompatible with your blood type antigen, the lectins will target an organ or your
body system and begin to agglutinate blood cells in that area.
Furthermore, to ensure healthy life we should eat a diet based on the type of
food our ancestors typically ate at the time when our blood type was first recognized. As
we already know blood were categories in four group such as blood group O, blood
group A, blood group B and blood group AB. This group of blood plays an important
role in our healthy life.
Therefore, the blood for group O is the most common blood group in the UK.
DrD‟Adamo says that our digestive tract retains the memory of ancient times, and type
Os should follow a high-protein, low-carb diet with lots of meat and fish but no dairy
products, wheat or grains. If that sounds familiar, it‟s because the diet recommended for
people with blood type O is simply a variation on many of the typical high-protein, low-
carb diets that are currently popular. Foods you can eat freely include meat, fish and
olive oil, foods you can eat in moderation include eggs, nuts, seeds, certain vegetables
and fruits; and foods to avoid include dairy products, beans, cereals, bread, pasta and
3. rice. To complement your food intake, DrD‟Adamo recommends lots of vigorous aerobic
exercise such as aerobics and running.
In addition, the second most common blood type in the UK is blood from group A.
Again, according to DrD'Adamo, digestive system is apparently very good at
remembering that our ancestors had settled, farming lifestyles, which included eating
lots of grains and vegetables but little meat. Consequently, blood type A‟s should follow
a vegetarian diet but still avoid dairy products. This means nuts, seeds, beans, cereals,
pasta, rice, fruit and veg are all on the „to eat‟ list. Meanwhile, calming exercises are
thought to be best for blood type A‟s such as yoga or golf.
Ladies and gentlemen,
For the other group of blood is blood group B. Besides, just certain people have
this type of blood. On the others hand, only one person in 10 has blood type B. A real
shame when you consider this blood group has the least dietary restrictions! As our type
B ancestors were able to thrive on all sorts of foods, thanks to all that travelling, very
few foods need to be avoided and this is the closest you‟ll get to a healthy, balanced
diet from DrD'Adamo. The only foods that need to be avoided are processed foods,
although nuts and seeds aren‟t recommended and only small amounts of carb-rich
foods should be eaten. When it comes to exercise, DrD‟Adamo recommends activities
that have mental component, such as hiking, tennis and swimming.
In addition, the last type of blood is blood group AB. People with this rare blood
type should eat a combination of the foods recommended for blood groups A and B.
Somewhat confusing when type B allows you to eat most foods, while type A suggests
a vegetarian diet! DrD‟Adamo gets around this by suggesting that type ABs follow a
veggie diet most of the time with some meat, fish and dairy products occasionally. It‟s
the same when it comes to exercise too much. Blood type ABs should combine calming
exercises with moderately intense activities.
4. As a conclusion, in order to deliver health we must deliver good food through
implementing sweeping changes in medical education and goals, food and agriculture
and government policies. We may still needs as many physicians if they indeed become
guardians of our health rather than managers of disease. So, we should always remind
ourselves that a healthy body starts with a balanced diet.
Thank you….
