1. Special effect inspiration
Whilst in the process of filming, I found inspiration from looking at the way in which special
effects are used to enhance various A2 music videos. Knowing the songs and seeing the
music videos of the songs, I thought that the use of special effects, improved the remake of
the music videos.
An example of an A2 music video that inspired me in the recreation of the “High all the
time” (Hippie Sabotage Remix). Throughout the whole of the music video variety of special
effects are used to help with transition between shots. This is shown clearly in the chorus
where the on beat editing along with the changing of colours show the variety off moods
that the woman is going through.
Not only did the special effects, enhance the visuals but it also helped me understand the
song and what it is connoting. As a result of this I thought of a few ideas that I myself could
implement into my music video. It is more than likely in my music video; I will incorporate or
have very similar to the special effect in my final cut. Bellow this post I will post the video.
