Haitham Mokhtar is a senior project engineer at Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company. He has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including work on offshore and onshore oilfields, headquarters, fabrication yards, and marine units. Mokhtar holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a post-graduate diploma in Offshore Engineering. He is currently involved in projects at ADMA-OPCO.

Mr. Haitham Mokhtar holds a M. Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt
1995. He achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Offshore Engineering from the Arab Academy for
Science and Technology, Egypt, 2010. Haitham is a Certified Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2008 &
OHSAS 18001:2007, and a CIPM (Certified International Project Manager) from the International
Academy of Project Management 2013. Fully proficient in PMI­PMP
Principles and also participated in
the review of the 5th edition of the PMBOK.
Born in 1972, Haitham is a Mid­Senior
Level Project/Construction Management Professional, During
his total professional experience of 20 years, he started his professional career in marketing and
Mechanical maintenance, then moved and remain for the past 17 years in the O&G industry, in
addition to volunteering roles with the PMI.
With exposure to Greenfield, Brownfield and Integrity Projects, Haitham has worked on Offshore/
Onshore oilfields, HQs, fabrication yards and on board many types of marine units. His skills includes
Project/Construction/Contract/ Installation/ Interface Management in O&G, Innovations, Leadership,
Professional Communication, Negotiation, Reporting, Team working, Planning, Global Diversity,
HAZOP, HAZID, win­win
approach, cost control, KPIs, budgeting, business process improvement,

Haitham is currently employed with ADMA­OPCO
as Senior Projects Engineer, since December 2008.
