19. The SP MoD wants to open their simulation
architectures and have decided to work with DDS as the
foundation. SP MoD wants to migrate from monolytic
simulations to a system of systems aproach
DDS is only a foundation but HLA or DIS simulation will
cohabitate in this future simulation ecosystem. DDS
provides advanced data management features that
complement simulation services in HLA or DIS.
Sp MoD wants to reduce TTM and costs by increasing
reusability and composability of their simulation
systems.
