South Africa was previously a British colony and implemented apartheid from 1950 to 1994, which was a system of racial segregation. It now has a multiracial society and is known as the "rainbow nation".

Sport:Racial and ethnic divisions are noticeable even in sports: the white Afrikaner
rugby fans are, while English-speaking whites prefer cricket. Blacks, however, are more
football fans.In rugby South Africa is a power, in fact, is considered the sport

World Cup twice (1995 and 2007).
As for football, the Federation of South Africa was suspended for several years because
of Apartheid by FIFA, as a result, the team could not participate in any official
