{Sound Research
 The teaser trailers that I have picked to base my sound on for our teaser
trailer are these two:
Hush Teaser Trailer When a Stranger Calls
Hush Teaser Trailer
• From looking at the teaser trailer
for this film, although the sound
is similar to want I would like,
the content is also similar to one
of our scenes. This will help to
give inspiration for our teaser
trailer and will help to build up a
convincing soundtrack.
• Although there is no dialogue in
this teaser trailer I think it gives
me an idea of the type of ambient
sound I want to play in my teaser
trailer.
• Many of the sound effects used as
well are definitely feature for our
trailer. Including the footsteps,
heavy breathing, door locking.
When a Stranger Calls
Teaser Trailer
• The content in this trailer is also a
similar idea to our teaser trailer. And
intruder in the house and will help us
to convey the right atmosphere
through with the music.
• The soundtrack is a lot more similar to
the soundtrack we were wanting as it
is a mixture of dialogue, diegetic and
non-diegetic sound.
• For example, like the other trailer the
footsteps, the phone call and the
locking of the doors are going to help
us to find the right sound effects that
we need for similar scenes.
 In our teaser trailer we will also need to include many sound effects
and voice overs. The voiceovers will be recorded along side with the
filming on filming day.
 Some of the clips I have found below are possible clips that will be
used in the actual teaser trailer
footsteps
phone beep
door closing
gasp
 There are many sights that people are not sure
whether are copyright free or not. All the
sound clips I have found are from a copyright
free website called www.freesound.org.
 Any other clips which I use in my final teaser
trailer must be specified where they are from if
not copyright free. For example; YouTube.
 I have also read the importance of copyright on
from this website © UK Copyright Law. This
gave me an insight on everything I need to
know about copyright.
