Rhythm- making the words fit rhythmically
into the musical lines and the meter of the

Rhyme- Making the ideas fit together and flow
poetically.
Reason- Making sure that your lyric is not just
a senseless strain of rhyming words that have
no real significance.

Mood

Movement
5. MOOD
Mood is one of the first things that’s conveyed by music.
Listeners pick up the mood via the partnership of all the
various song components, but mostly through:
• key choice (major versus minor);
• tempo;
• melodic shape;
• instrumental choices and effects;
• lyrics.
6. METER
In music, metre (Commonwealth spelling) or meter (American
spelling) refers to regularly recurring patterns and accents such as
bars and beats.
7. MOVEMENT
A movement is a self-contained part of a musical
composition or musical form. While individual or selected
movements from a composition are sometimes performed
separately as stand-alone pieces, a performance of the
complete work requires all the movements to be performed in
succession. A movement is a section, "a major structural unit
perceived as the result of the coincidence of relatively large
numbers of structural phenomena".

IDEAS LYRICS
We have a big problem. We face a battle which we
do not see.
The problem is so big. We are outnumbered, and
our weapons may not be
enough.
We can not do anything. We have nowhere to run, no
place to hide. Should we
surrender now?
