It notes that "holy" is used to describe God's promises, dwelling place on a mountain, name, land, city, temple, throne, people, and as an adorning for his people. concerning man and the blessed man in particular.
We concentrate on the flow, themes and connections themes to theme.

The document discusses how to receive eternal life as a gift from God. It says that all people have sinned and deserve death, but God offers salvation through Jesus. To receive this gift, one must: 1) believe in Jesus, 2) repent of sins, and 3) confess faith in Jesus before others. It further explains that one should also be baptized, which buries the believer with Christ into His death and raises them to walk in newness of life. Remaining faithful to Jesus is also required to receive the crown of life.
The document discusses reasons to be thankful based on Colossians 1:12-14. It provides three main reasons for thankfulness: 1) it honors God, 2) it is commanded, and 3) thanklessness can have negative consequences. It then examines the passage in more detail, noting that believers have been qualified through Christ for an inheritance with the saints, delivered from darkness and Satan's power, and transferred to God's kingdom through redemption and forgiveness of sins.
The document discusses the problem of hypocrisy. It defines hypocrisy as acting for appearance's sake rather than sincerely, doing things one condemns in others, and ignoring one's own faults. It gives examples from the New Testament of how the Pharisees and scribes acted hypocritically for show. It also discusses how hypocrisy can cause others to stumble, is a sign of apostasy, and if left unchecked can lead one to abandon their faith altogether.
1) Paul says he is a servant of Christ and steward of God's mysteries, and that as a steward he must be found faithful.
2) Though he has done much wrong in the past persecuting the church, he now lives with a clear conscience before God and does not judge himself.
3) Only God can truly judge him for how faithful he has been.
A prophet from Judah prophesied against an altar at Bethel, saying that a man named Josiah would sacrifice priests there. King Jeroboam invited the prophet to his house, but he refused, saying he was commanded not to. An old prophet lied to the prophet, saying an angel told him to bring the prophet back with him. The prophet went with the old prophet and was killed by a lion as prophesied, for disobeying God's command. This story teaches that we must obey God rather than men, and we will all give an account of ourselves to God.
This document contains passages from the Bible about how followers of Christ should treat their enemies. It discusses Jesus' teachings that his disciples should love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them. The document emphasizes that Christians should not seek revenge but instead overcome evil with good. It encourages readers to not just love those who love them but to have love and kindness for all people.
This document discusses the concept of waiting from a Christian perspective. It examines what waiting entails according to Scripture - it is about trusting that God is in control and will take care of every situation. True waiting involves complete trust in God and zealously serving Him as we await His return. The document uses examples from the Bible to illustrate the importance of readiness as we wait, through parables of waiting for a bridegroom, servants given talents, and serving Jesus by serving others. It concludes that if we truly trust in God's power and faithfulness, we will wait for His justice and mercy while hoping in His salvation and waiting for Jesus.
The document discusses the negative effects of covetousness, listing them as: 1) It blunts the sensitive nerve of love; 2) It blurs the picture of life; 3) It banishes the fruit of generosity; 4) It breeds the worm of discontent; 5) It burdens the spirit with sorrow; 6) It blinds one to the true meaning of life; 7) It blasts the devotee with misery. The document uses numerous Bible verses to support each of these points.

Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

Astronism, Cosmism and Cosmodeism: the space religions espousing the doctrine...Cometan
This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.
Lição 12: João 15 a 17 – O Espírito Santo e a Oração Sacerdotal | 2° Trimestr...OmarBarrezueta1
The pervasiveness of Lying in today's World.pptxniwres
In our interconnected world, lies weave through the fabric of society like hidden threads. We encounter them in politics, media, personal relationships, and even within ourselves. The prevalence of deception raises profound questions about truth, trust, and the human condition.

24. Remembering The LORD
1 Corinthians 11:23–26 (NKJV)
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to
you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was
betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He
broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken
for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same
manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is
the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink
it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this
bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till
He comes.

“I have said for a long time that some
members of the churches of Christ
are more against instrumental music in
worship than they are for singing.
Sometimes brethren have majored in
the minors and minored in the majors
on this subject.We have almost
broken our arms patting ourselves on
the back because we don’t use
instrumental music in worship – while
at the same time put little emphasis on
singing as God commanded. . . ”

✦ Also in 1871, the Great
Chicago fire wiped out
Stafford's business and most
of his wealth.

Spafford’s return to Chicago.
✦ Spafford sent his wife Anna,
his four daughters, (Annie,
Maggie, Bessie, Tanetta), on
ahead.
✦ On the morning of Nov. 22nd
