William Halloway is a soon-to-be fourteen year old who starts out
wanting nothing more than to attend the Cooger & Dark's
Pandemonium Shadow Show before the summer ends.

5. Plot summary:
As the title of the book implies there is more to the carnival than
meets the eye and it’s up to Will, his friend jim, and will’s father
to put an end to the evil that has come to town.
