Abstract—Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTW) is a rare, sporadic syndrome characterized by a triad of port-wine stain, varicose veins with or without venous malformations, and bony and soft tissue hypertrophy. It usually affects only one extremity, organ involvement is uncommon. A case of 17-year-old boy with this syndrome having solid viscous organ involvement was observed at surgery Outdoor. This case is rare so it was reported. Splenic lymphangiomatosis is also observed in this KTW syndrome case as association of AVM and lymphangioma together in spleen is rarest which was observed in this case. So it is a very rare case.

Abstract— Bronchial Asthma is a public health problem in childhood. Allergic Rhinitis (AR) is a very common co-morbidity with Bronchial Asthma. So this study was conducted on 250 Primary School Children to find prevalence of Bronchial asthma and Allergic Rhinitis and their association. It was observed from this study that 17.2% of children were having Bronchial asthma and 20.4% were found to have allergic Rhinitis. Co morbidity of Bronchial Asthma with Allergic Rhinitis was observed in 11.6 % of these cases. It was also observed that Bronchial Asthma was observed significantly more in males than females and children of walled city than outer city. So it was concluded form this study that chances of occurring Allergic Rhinitis is significantly more with Bronchial Asthma than the chances of Bronchial Asthma with Allergic Rhinitis
Abstract— Season seems to have its role in wound infection which is the second commonest nosocomial infection and most troublesome disorder of wound healing. This study was carried out on 100 post-operative cases of Surgical Unit 1st of General Surgery Department of Sawai Man Singh Hospital, Jaipur (Rajasthan) India in years 2014. This study aimed to find out the seasonal trend in Post-operative wound infections (PSI). After interview of these, swab from post-operative wound was taken and sent for culture and sensitivity test in Microbiology. Results were inferred by Chi-square test. In this study, post-operative wound infection rate was found 21%. In majority of cases, causative agent found in post-operative infected wound was Staphylococci (90.48%) followed with Streptococci, E. Coli, Klebsella and Pseudomonas. Maximum cases were found in April followed by March, January and none was found in other months but this variation was not found significant.
Abstract— Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common physical disability of childhood. Children with CP frequently grow slowly and are more prone to fractures. So this study was aimed to explore relationship of bone mineral density (BMD) with cerebral palsy by case-control study. This study was conducted at Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur. Hip bone and spine bone was used to assess BMD. Bone mineral density was measured by DEXA in both groups i.e. study group and control group after ensuring the comparability of both groups. Difference in means of BMD in both the groups was inferred by unpaired student's’ test of significance. It was found in this study that bone mineral density of hip well as spine was significantly lowered in cerebral palsy cases.
Association of Dental Diseases with Oral Hygiene in School Children of Rural Rajasthan, India-Oral diseases are health problem of industrialize well as developing countries because of its high prevalence. In developing countries these diseases are given less impotance because of scarcity of resources but when these dental diseases remain untreated it can cause permanent toothache and disability. It can increase school attendance and intern lead to complication and expensive treatment. A community based study was conducted in rural area of Jaipur district to find out the association of dental diseases with oral hygiene. From schools of Amer tahsil of Jaipur district 1600 students were examined for dental diseases and interrogated for oral hygiene. Association of oral hygiene with dental diseases like Dental Carries, Dental Fluorosis, Malocclusion and Periodontitis was found out with chi-square test. It was revealed that Dental diseases like Dental Carries, Dental Fluorosis, Malocclusion and peridontitis all are associated with oral hygiene. Mouth rinsing frequency and teeth cleaning frequency is inversely proportion in Dental Carries but is directly proportional in Dental Fluorosis, Malocclusion and Periodontitis
Abstract— Elderly population is increasing due to demographic shift in favor of geriatric population. This age group is susceptible for many acute and chronic health problems which may lead to limitation daily activities of life. Study of acute and chronic health problems with limitation daily activities of life of this population is required to frame comprehensive policies to make ageing a comfortable experience. So this cross-sectional period prevalence study was carried out from September 2009 to August 2010 on 1620 elderly residing in Municipal corporation area of Jaipur city with the aim to study episodes of acute health problems within last one month and limitation daily activities of life within last years of this population of elderly population. Study population consist of 1620 elderly with M:F ratio 0.95. Mean age of elderly was 66.08 years with slight female predominance i.e. 1048 females for 1000 males in Jaipur city. It can be concluded from 41.6% of elderly were having difficulty in performing activity of daily living and this difficulty was found more in females that males and in older ages. It was also revealed that 44.37 of elderly had one or more episodes of acute illness in last one month. These number of episodes of acute illness in last one month was found more in males and in older age groups.
Abstract—Adolescents are the future resources for any country to progress and prosper. According to Census 2001, in India, adolescent constitute one-fifth of the total population. Adolescent AGs are one of the important segments of the population for they are the future mother whose nutritional status affects that of the newborn baby. Anemia being a major public health problem among adolescent girls, a study was conducted with the objective to determine the socio-demographic correlates of anemia among girls. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 467 adolescent AGs in Ahmadabad city during May 2011 to august 2012 in Adolescent Friendly Health Services clinics. Results: Prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls was 85.9%. Highest prevalence was observed during mid-adolescence phase. As the age of girls increases, Hemoglobin tends to get on the lower side. A statistically significant association was observed between anemia and nutritional status. No association was observed between anemia and religion, birth order, type of -family, education of parents and occupation of parents. Conclusion: Association between anemia and under-nutrition has been reported earlier in numerous studies; however present study highlights the fact that it is not common to have anemia among girls who are over nourished or obese. Hence, special efforts should be made to address this issue among girls by doing dietary modifications.
Abstract—By providing proper architecture as per the need and behaviour of the individuals a person may be satisfied with surrounding that may affect spiritual health of individual and in turn the overall health. So this study was conducted on two type of housing society with the aim to find out relationship between type of architecture, interpersonal relationship and spiritual health of their residents.

Various components of architecture of their houses was assessed of these houses and general information gathered from head of family. Interpersonal relationship of societies was assessed by applying 9 itemed self reported Relationship Structures (ECR-RS) questionnaire for neighbors on head of family. Spiritual health of head of family was assessed with Spiritual Health Assessment Scale (SHAS). The relationship between type of architecture, interpersonal relationship and level of spiritual health was inferred by Chi-square test and Unpaired 't' test.
Result & Conclusion: It was also found out that Interpersonal relationship were significantly better of society having architecture preferring more of comfort and ambiences than safety and vice versa. Likewise spiritual health score was observed significantly higher in occupants having architecture preferring more of comfort and ambiences than safety and vice versa.
Abstract—This study was aimed to find out relationship of maternal Zinc, Copper and Iron levels with birth weight. Epidemiological observations are that Low birth weight babies i.e. weighing less than 2,500 grams, are approximately 20 times more likely to die than heavier babies. LBWs are more common in developing than developed countries. This study was conducted on 100 new born infant and their mother. Mothers of just delivered babies were investigated for assessing serum zinc, iron and copper levels on atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Along with this cord blood samples of newborn delivered by these identified women were investigated for zinc, iron and copper levels. Simultaneously birth weight of newborns delivered by these mothers were assessed. Association of maternal Zinc, Copper and Iron with birth weight of newborn was analyzed by unpaired student's’ test of significance. It was found in this study that maternal and newborn serum Zinc and Copper level were significantly lower and higher respectively in LBWs whereas serum Iron was not associated with birth weight of infants.
Abstract—
Purpose: To evaluate the morphological changes of the Meibomian glands in patients with evaporative “dry eye” compared to normal subjects by in vivo laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM). To correlate these changes to the clinical observations and tear functions.
Methods: The study was based on trans-tarsal images of 30 normal and 30 diseased lids (patients with subjective complaints and objective symptoms of evaporative “dry eye”). Each participant was examined by in vivo LSCM (HRT3 Rostock corneal module). The results were compared to histological findings of normal or pathologically changed Meibomian glands.
Results: Patients with evaporative “dry eye” presented with destructive changes of the Meibomian glands as follows: occlusion of the lumen, impaired morphology of the acines, lack of normal structure and infiltration with inflammatory cells. Reported ocular surface and tear function abnormalities were correlated to the Meibomian glands dysfunction (MGD). In all cases the lid hygiene and anti-inflammatory treatment demonstrated tendency to restoration of the structure.
Cоnclusion: In vivo LSCM can effectively demonstrate the morphological changes of the Meibomian glands in patients with evaporative dry eye symptoms. This noninvasive technology is useful as a supplementary diagnostic tool for in vivo assessment of the histopathology of many ocular surface disorders and monitoring of the therapeutic effect in patients with MGD. Glandular acinar density and acinar unit diameter seemed to be promising new parameters of Meibomian glands in vivo confocal microscopy. The examination has the potential to change the evaporative dry eye treatment approach
Abstract— Alcohol is a psychoactive substance that their consumption can cause some damage to the body, mainly in the central nervous system, also it is possible observed changes in the social behavior of the individual when ingested in large amounts.
In addition, a placebo effect is based on the total of similar beneficial effects to health regarding physiological - psychological active substance. With regard to this issue, have been conducted to observe the behavior of volunteers where it is used a psychoactive substance such as coffe, marijuana or drugs in some volunteer groups compared to a group that ingested a placebo (inert substance).
In this study, it was observed the behavior of two groups of young volunteers aged college to which were given drinks alcoholics beverages and drinks with placebo (group A and B, respectively), where alcoholics beverages and placebo were smell similar and taste.
Previously it determined that these volunteers had no alcohol dependence. Also before giving the drinks, their levels of anxiety and depression were assessed by means of psychological testing; volunteers also underwent neurocognitive testing, neuromotor before and it then give them drinks with alcohol or placebo.
We observed in this study that the placebo effect was can be as strong as if it had ingested the psychoactive substance, In like manner, we perceived that mood at the studie moment have a significantly influence, because the psychoactive substance effect or stimulating feeling are improved even when they to believe has been drinking alcohol
Association of Anxiety and Depression with Glaucoma-Glaucoma is the third largest cause of blindness worldwide after cataract and trachoma. Along with burden of blindness it also has psychological impact. So this study was designed to find out association of Insomnia, Anxiety and depression with Glaucoma. A case-series type of observational study was carried out on 100 glaucoma cases attended at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur (Raj). For assessment of anxiety and depression the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and for insomnia modified Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Fourth edition (DSM-IV) criteria was used. Data collected were analysed and inferred with chi-square test. It was found in this study that Insomnia is associated with Age, Visual acuity in both the eyes and severity of glaucoma in glaucoma cases, with severity of glaucoma it was observed highly significant. Anxiety is associated with Age, Pupilary reaction, Visual acuity in both the eyes and severity of glaucoma in glaucoma cases, with age and severity of glaucoma it was observed highly significant. Depression is not associated with any of supra-said factors in glaucoma cases
Abstract—Abnormalities that characterizes lipoprotein metabolism in non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) patients, fasting concentration of triglyceride rich lipoprotein especially very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) are higher and those of HDL, commonly measured as HDL-c, are lower than among people without diabetes, which leads to increased triglyceride HDL-c ratio and insulin resistance. This type of diabetic dyslipidemia is a major cause of oxidative stress which promote and accelerate atherosclerosis and thus, end organ damage AMI. This present study was carried at the Central Clinical Laboratory MIMSR Medical College Latur, with the aim to find out the role of lipoprotein-triglyceride in myocardial infarction in NIDDM. For this study, patient with myocardial infarction with NIDDM were selected after admitting in MIMSR Medical College Latur. These 25 cases were included in study group and age-matched to these cases 50 healthy subjects were selected as Control group. The lipid profile and total serum lipid peroxides (malondialdehyde) of study and control groups were assessed & compared. It was found that in the control group mean values of total cholesterol was 180.21 ± 18.13 mg % whereas it was 229.21± 23.58 in study group, which was significantly higher in study group. Likewise, mean Serum Triglycerides and Serum Lipid Peroxides (MDA) of study group were also found significantly (p<0.001) higher that of control group (228.14 v/s 99.9 and 410.22 v/s 180.96 respectively). It was also revealed in this study that mean Serum HDL-Cholesterol was found significantly lower in study group whereas LDL-Cholesterol (28.72 v/s 53.83) and VLDL-Cholesterol were found significantly higher in study group that control group (150.61 v/s 106.60 and 46.30 v/s 19.8). So it can be concluded that AMI patients with NIDDM have higher Total Serum Cholesterol, Serum Triglycerides, Serum Lipid Peroxides (MDA), LDL- Cholesterol and VLDL- Cholesterol with lower HDL- Cholesterol.
Abstract—Periodontal disease is a destructive inflammatory disease inducing profound changes in the plasma concentrations of cytokines leading to a catabolic state characterized by altered lipid metabolism and hypertriglyceridemia. This study was conducted with the aim find out association of chronic periodontitis with serum lipid parameters. Study group consist of 30 cases of chronic periodontitis (case group) and control group consist of 30 healthy individuals. Age range was kept 25-60 years to avoid extreme ages. Periodontal parameters including Plaque Index, Gingival Index, Probing Depth and Clinical Attachment Level were recorded. Lipid profile comprising of total cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL- Cholesterol and LDL was assessed and co related with periodontal parameters. This study confirms significantly higher levels of mean cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL in periodontitis group as compared to healthy group. Also, there is significant negative co relation of HDL with probing depth and clinical attachment loss. Association of hyperlipidemia and chronic periodontitis is evident in developed state of disease. With this study, this relation is confirmed based on Factor and Outcome.
Suicidal Ideation in Geriatric Population of Jaipur City-Physical, Social and economical problem of geriatrics lead to disturbance in their psychological health and may lead to psychiatric disorders. This study is aimed to found out the suicidal tendencies in geriatric population of Jaipur city. For the study 990 geriatric individuals were identified by 30 cluster technique was adopted to cover whole city. Questions related to suicidal ideation were asked along with other socio-demographic variables. Collected data were analyzed as percentage and proportion and to find out the associated socio-demographic factors chi-square test was used. Suicidal Ideation was found in 6.77% of elderly and this Suicidal Ideation was found to be associated with age, education and present occupation of elderly. It was found significantly more in elderly who lost their spouses. Housing condition and personal hygiene were found to be directly proportional to suicidal ideation i.e. poorer the housing condition and personal hygiene more the chances to have suicidal ideation.
Effect of Age on Response of 61-Point Relaxation Technique on Cardiovascular variables in Females-Stress affects mainly on autonomic nervous system of individuals and relaxation techniques has the opposite of the stress response. 61-point relaxation technique is one of the relaxation techniques but there are some factors on which its grading of response is dependent. So this study is aimed to find out the effect of age on response of 61-point relaxation technique on cardio-vascular variables. Study was conducted on 30 healthy females of equals to or less than 30 years and 30 healthy females of more than 30 years. Before and after relaxation technique data regarding systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), Heart rate (HR) and respiratory rate (RR) were recorded. Significance of difference in means of baseline and end line data SBP, DBP, HR and RR of both the groups were inferred by unpaired‘t’ test. It was found that there was significant reduction of SBP, DBP, HR and RR in both the groups but significant difference in reduction was observed only in SBP and RR not in DBP and HR. Reduction in SBP was significantly more in more than 30 years than the other group whereas reduction in RR was just reverse.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.
Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
