2. BIOGRAPHY: TODD GROSS, FUND MANAGER
A graduate of the M&T Program at University of Pennsylvania with concurrent degrees from the Wharton and Engineering Schools, Mr. Gross started in
the trading business in 1988 and has been a member of the CME for nearly 30 years. Starting on the floor of the PHLX with Cooper, Neff & Associates.
he experienced volatile market movements in Deutsche Mark, French Frank, Australian Dollar, British Pound and Equity Options. Mr. Gross was soon
moved to New York where he traded and managed books in Crude Oil, Heating Oil, Gasoline, Natural Gas, Gold, Silver, Coffee, Sugar, Cocoa and Cotton.
From there Mr. Gross was tapped to Head Options Trading on a Global Basis for Commodities at Morgan Stanley & Company. Responsible for offices in
London, New York and Singapore, Mr. Gross Managed books with Energy, Metals and Cross Currency Commodity risks and dealing with multinational
companies and Sovereign Governments. While at Morgan, his groups were recognized as top derivatives dealer by Risk Magazine and realized large
profits during the breaking of the Bank of England. In 1993, Mr. Gross founded Hudson Capital Group, LLC. He wrote the models that lead to millions of
dollars in profits and vaulted the group that he co-owned to 10% of NYMEX volume in energy options. He started successful offices in Chicago and in
London. There he was instrumental in modeling the markets in Ten Year Notes in Chicago and FTSE, German Bonds, Italian Bonds and English Gilts on
LIFFE in London. He was a long-standing member of advisory committees at the CME and created a dozens of groundbreaking, innovative new
products at the exchange. He also created Hudson Capital Energy, an origination group with over 1200 clients that modeled and created risk
management products for several Fortune 100 clients to hedge their risks with offices in New York, Zug and Singapore. This business was successfully
sold to INTL FC Stone in 2011. During his tenure at Hudson, from 2001-2012, Mr. Gross started in the fund management business and utilized
quantitative, fundamental and weather inputs. One of his funds was partnered with the former Chief of Staff of the United States and during which, as
Chief Investment Officer, traded Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Natural Gas, Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, PJM and ERCOT Electricity. In 2012, Mr. Gross
started QERI, LLC, a Commodity Trading Advisor and Hedge Fund that utilized quantitative models to make investments. His funds have been awarded
many times as a top 10 hedge fund with assets over $10 million dollars by Barclay Hedge, with the largest investors in the Commodities space being his
clients. He has been a featured speaker at various Family Office and Alternative Investment Conferences as well as Commodities Week in London.
