The Soldiers' Memorial is a white obelisk located on the corner of the school that commemorates old scholars who attended the school, fought in wars such as World War 1, and died. It represents soldiers who fought for the country. In the past, memorials were discouraged as the government wanted to promote fighting instead of focusing on death. The obelisk was begun by students in 1916 and finished before 1918, as shown by a photo. An Honor Roll in the library lists all old scholars who served in wars.
