This document proposes installing solar-powered device charging stations and free Wi-Fi stations in public spaces in Yerevan, Armenia. It notes that Armenia has over 200 sunny days per year but solar technology is underdeveloped. The stations would use solar energy to charge batteries which then charge devices and provide Wi-Fi. Four concepts are described: Solar Tree stations in parks, a sustainable ConnecTable that can charge 75-150 devices per day, a large mobile station with Wi-Fi and charging, and a smaller mobile station. The goal is to promote solar energy and raise climate change awareness in Armenia.

2. PROBLEM
Yerevan is one of the most sunniest cities in the world. There are over 200 sunny days a year in
Armenia, but the solar technologies are not developed enough to use this advantage.
There are only few solar energy companies working in Armenia, and they only engineer
projects for private segments. Public spaces are never being selected as a platform for developing
solar energy industry, ideas and climate change propaganda.

3. The idea is to instal in Yerevan cities public spaces solar-powered smart device charger and free wi-
fi stations . We want to to be first to start visual propaganda of climate change in Armenia
This project aims to combine the reduced environmental impact, especially deriving from a low
absorption of fossil fuel-based energy, with the need to ensure constant operation and expected light
performances. The Street charge station concepts are designed as an elegant all-in-one community
solution for solar charging of mobile devices.

4. TECHNOLOGY
Solar Tree and Mobile charger stations are a light fixture combining an
innovative design with the technical performances of LED lighting systems using
solar energy supplied from a photovoltaic system. and a free wi-fi router.
The operation of this light fixture and the energy for wi-fi router is not influenced
by weather randomness and project changes due to winter periods (e.g. number
of panels, accumulator dimensioning).Users' devices are not pulling direct from
the panels, the panels charge a 168 Wh Lithium Ion battery which then charges
smartphones and tablets at the same rate as a wall outlet
