This document discusses the development of smart PV window shades that can help reduce energy consumption and provide privacy and UV protection. The smart shades are powered by solar panels and use sensors to open and close automatically based on temperature, light levels, and time of day. They reduce air conditioning costs by up to 30% by blocking heat from windows. The project design uses an Arduino, battery charging module, servo motor, boost converter, temperature sensor, light sensor, and WiFi module. Future improvements include a mobile app for remote control and automatic rotation based on sunlight angle.

not valid since the ultraviolet rays of the sun will
reach your space through the windows and doors.
There are two types of UV beams that mostly affect
your skin-UVA and UVB. Not only do these shades
offer complete UV protection, they also create a
comfortable indoor ambience and offer complete
privacy.

closes the shades when temperature is too hot . When the the temperature becomes cooler
the system automatically opens the shades.

Making mobile application
This app helps you to remotely open and close your smart solar blinds, provide feedback updates and
check your screens, too. Additionally, the solar driven shades have a feature that facilitates the shades
automatic rotation according to the angle of sunlight.
