2. Sociology-is a social sciences which studies
man and society as well as man in society. Man
in society means the interplay of people within
the society and what man do to society and
vice versa. Weber defined sociology as a
science that attempts the interpretive
understanding of social action in order to
arrive at a casual explanation of it cause and
effect.

3. •Sociology- use research method which is either
qualities on explaining social phenomenon.
It also studies the social structure of groups, social status,
organization of structure of society, social causes and
consequences of human behavior.

4. • Case Study is also used to observe
phenomenon and involvement of people and
society, this is also called explanatory
research in sociology, sociologist also uses
descriptive research that answers that
question ‘what’ in society.

5. •The 2 Main focus of sociology are rural and
urban sociology. Rural sociology is the study of
human relationship in the environment and is
considered and applied sciences. Urban
sociology studies cities and urban
communities.

6. • Areas like social organization, human ecology, social
change and social psychology, and religion are also the
focus of sociology .Subset of which is human population
or demographics link closely with geography.
• One example of sociology explanation would be poverty
in a particular palce.it would show it there are racial
and educational lines that follow it.

7. • An example of one the focus of sociology is the gender
roles in the society. Philippines is known for being a
paternalistic society but with innovation, demand for
labor and technology change, so with the role of
women in the society. Women improvement also adds
to the gender role change. This affects the status of the
society and the culture as women took new roles
