This document provides a sample social media tactical plan to accomplish the goals of increasing unique traffic to a website and converting anonymous visitors to known visitors. The plan outlines specific tactics and metrics for various social media platforms including blogs, social networks, microblogging, social press, widgets, bookmarking/tagging, crowdsourcing/voting sites, commenting/forums/wikis, online video, photo sharing, podcasting, and presentation sharing. Short-term objectives and key metrics are defined for each tactic.
