GOAL SIMP 
 The goal of SIMP is to contribute to driving 
improvements that increase the value of 
programs to the people and communities they 
serve 
 The goal of SIMP is to give the public and 
institutions - in and outside Greenland - a 
fundamental overview of social indicators 
and a understanding of specifics 
/caracteristics in each Greenlandic 
community – Found in one place 
 The goal of SIMP is to bind Greenland 
communities together by making information 
on different social indicators and specifics for 
each area – Available.
Why SIMP 
 To give the public a better understanding on social indicators for each 
area and how to understand, use and interact on that basis. 
 To give the best independent and same baseline for all 
projects/programs based on what local people need or community needs 
 To contribute organizations, companies and institutions in and outside 
Greenland to gain best possible insight and overview for taking decisions 
or establishing programs - on a informed basis 
 There is a need for more horizontal interactive independent information 
cross diciplines and mindsets for the benefit of greenlandic inhabitants 
based on their social indicators 
 The social indicators are the backbone and the caracteristic of each 
greenlandic society and needs to be adressed – First hand.
HOW SIMP 
 SIMP will work in two projects – The social indicators 
project and The mapping project 
 SIMP will work from a secretariat which will be the central 
unit facilitating work, collecting data and spreading 
information. 
 SIMP will work independenly from any interests but 
avaiable for all interested 
 SIMP will make all work public available using our 
interactive web portal and do publications from each 
greenlandic community – As we go and on request 
 SIMP will map all greenlandic social indicators in 4 years 
 SIMP will use Social Impact Assessment methods as a 
organic method for research and design of the project.

 The greenlandic communities - Who SIMP initially serves –

 The public- Who gain insight in all communities at one 
place on same criterias – Binding the country

 The decision makers - Who can use SIMP for immidiate
