This document discusses monitoring and reporting procedures for Strategic Objective 3 (SO3) of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). It provides an overview of SO3 indicators and qualifiers used to measure programme implementation, outputs, outcomes, and impacts. It also presents results from the 2014 mid-term review, including the number of countries and regional institutions supported. Lessons learned from the 2014 reporting process are discussed, such as the need for improved headquarters communication and qualitative reporting that links monitoring to work planning. Country-level results for SO3 projects in the Near East region are provided, with over 450 total projects ongoing across 19 countries.
