Over 450,000 people are expected to attend the event to sample food from nearly 60 local restaurants and food trucks. It will have several areas including a reception area, main bar and show area with TVs showing games, a restaurant space that can be rented for events, a wine house, a barber shop, an outdoor area, and a kids play area. The concept is to fuse a passion for football with good food and drinks in a space that has a rustic yet contemporary design.
The document proposes opening an upscale restaurant, lounge, and music club in downtown Toronto serving global cuisine and hosting live entertainment. It will cater to young professionals and creatives by offering cooking classes, special events, and a space for networking. The exhibition at America's Center recreates Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling paintings through high-quality reproductions at their original sizes, allowing visitors to experience the art from a new perspective with awe and wonder. The Black Restaurant Week in St. Louis will feature meals from 17 local Black-owned restaurants from November 6-7. The Vintage Market Days event in Chesterfield from November 6-8 will include new vendors and vintage goods.
The article profiles Steve Meyer, owner of Pend d'Oreille Winery in Sandpoint, Idaho. Meyer's passion for skiing led him to a formative experience working at a winery in France in 1985. This inspired him to pursue winemaking. He opened Pend d'Oreille Winery in 1995 to combine his love of skiing and winemaking. Though he sources some grapes from Washington, Meyer strives to craft balanced wines that let the grape varieties shine through with minimal winemaker influence, as he learned in France. The winery's new tasting room and restaurant help connect customers to the winemaking process.
This issue of Living Large focuses on large portions and oversized meals. It includes a cover story on experiencing the grand taste of Argentine barbecue, known for its large scale. Other stories include a supersized brunch at The Ritz-Carlton in Bali featuring a huge seafood spread, a flavor-packed feast of giant steaks at Bistecca restaurant, and trying to finish an enormous BO$$MAN burger. The issue aims to satisfy big appetites and forget about diets in favor of indulging and "living large".

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
It’s hard to believe it has come around so quickly, but The Sydney
Morning Herald Good Food Month presented by Citi, is upon us
again. The team and I have developed an exciting program of
one-off events and special menus from some of Australia’s best
chefs, restaurateurs, baristas, bartenders and providores.
We’re also delighted to welcome some key global influencers
to Sydney in October.
This year’s program is jam-packed with everything food-lovers
could want. We’re championing local talent by reviving our ‘Hats
Off’ dinners, staging wild picnics and so much more. We’re thrilled
to welcome a stellar line-up that features an eclectic collection
of international guests, including Editor-in-chief of Lucky Peach,
Chris Ying; US ramen master Ivan Orkin; Pulitzer Prize-winning
LA Times food critic Jonathan Gold; and London-based artisan
baker, food writer and author Dan Lepard.
Among the highlights of this year’s program is the Josephine Pignolet 25th Anniversary Young Chefs
Dinner at Rockpool est. 1989, with each course cooked by past winners.
In keeping with the current obsession around all things baked, fried, iced, creamed, dusted and colourful we are
launching a new event called ‘Sweetfest’, which takes place on the weekend of 17–18 October. Ever wondered
what happens when you drop desserts from a tree, or what a space unicorn cake looks like? Here’s your chance
to find out.
Explore more than 300 opportunities to share the Good Food Month love and tell us about it via Facebook,
Twitter and Instagram. Stay updated and sign up now to Foodie News, our regular e-newsletter

Sydney is spoilt for choice when
it comes to great places to eat.
As Australia’s global city, Sydney
is the leading destination for
international business, visitors
and students. Our cuisine is
influenced by that international
flavour and caters to all needs,
from fine dining to cheap eats.
Good Food Month also gives us an excellent
opportunity to explore the City’s varied and dynamic
villages. Each has its own unique dining precinct so
enjoy an old favourite or use this guide to explore and
discover a hidden gem.
I’m particularly looking forward to our Village Food
Adventures events across October including Asia On
Your Doorstep, as well as the Night Noodle Markets in
Hyde Park. The sounds and smells inspired by street
carnivals through Asia never fail to draw a crowd.
I hope you take advantage of all Good Food Month
has to offer across our City.
As the Presenting Partner of
Good Food Month, Citi is proud
to continue its association with
Australia’s largest food festival,
which yet again delivers new
and exciting events throughout
Sydney and New South Wales.
This partnership enables us
to continue to build on our
support of the local food and
wine industry and our customer benefits through the
Citibank Dining Program.
Good Food Month allows Citi to provide unique
customer experiences focused on good food and
wine. This year we’re delighted to bring back the Citi
Concierge service where customers can order a meal
from the comfort of the Citi VIP area at Night Noodle
Markets. We also invite customers to take advantage
of the exclusive offers available throughout
Good Food Month, outlined on page 38.
We are particularly excited about this year’s program

Is there no end to Sydney’s
spicy love affair with food?
Our famously fickle sensibilities,
and desire to try new and
different experiences, mean
restaurants open and close
at a speed that is often hard
to fathom. We discard once-
coveted haunts with barely a
thought, yet display enormous love and commitment
to a hearty cluster of Sydney dining institutions,
who continue to reinvent themselves with a combination
of snappier service, new takes on old classics, and
staple excellence.
Once again, all of these elements – old and new
– will be on display during The Sydney Morning
Herald Good Food Month presented by Citi .
The month-long showcase of all that is great in food
and drink is hotly anticipated, with great chefs, critics
and writers out and about. We are proud of our national
food brand and look forward to joining you at one of
these many events.
