Kelly Heineke is a dynamic educator with 17 years of experience
in curriculum, K-12 leadership, and data-driven instruction and
with a proven track record of supporting students, teachers,
coaches, and district leadership. She currently serves as Senior
Associate for PCG Education’s New York State project team,
developing Common Core English Language Arts curriculum
and professional development resources for educators across the
state.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining PCG Education, Ms. Heineke was Director
of Partnership Development at Education Pioneers (EP). In
this position, she built long-term talent partnerships with key
education organizations such as school operators and nonprofits
to integrate EP into long term human capital strategy. She
also previously served as Director of School Support for The
Achievement Network, where she coached and developed school
leadership teams to embed performance management strategies
into their schools’ everyday routines and ultimately raise student
academic achievement. For Chicago Public Schools, Ms. Heineke
served as Academic Initiatives Manager and, prior to that, 6th-
8th Grade Content Lead in the district’s Office of Teaching and
Learning.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
In her career, Ms. Heineke has been active in professional
organizations. She is currently a member of the Illinois Reading
Council, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the
International Reading Association.
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
Ms. Heineke received a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership
and Organizational Change from Roosevelt University and a
Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with minors in English
and Psychology from Barat College. She holds Illinois Certificate
Types 03 and Type 75 and is endorsed by the state of Illinois
to teach Language Arts and Social Studies at the 6th-8th grade
level.
