Datuk P. Ravidran Palaniappan is the Senior Director of ASEAN Economic
Integration Division, Ministry of International Trade and Industry. He has
been with the Ministry since 1983, serving in various positions, except
for a brief period of 1 year at the Ministry of Agriculture in 1996. He also
served as MITI Economic Counselor in Thailand and as Alternate Deputy
Permanent Representative to UNESCAP in Bangkok from 2000-2004. He
has been actively involved in the implementation of the ASEAN Economic
Community Blueprint initiatives since 2008, and in the formulation of
the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025. He has been involved
directly in the negotiations of free trade agreements involving Malaysia and
ASEAN.
He is currently the Chair of the Working Group on Trade in Services for
the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Universiti Malaya and Masters in
International Business from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Mastura was appointed Senior Director of ASEAN Economic Integration
Division of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry on 5 December

Dato’ Wan Latiff has a wide range of experience in international trade.
He started his career with Tourism Malaysia in 1984 before joining
