Advantages of IPRO project features:
• Quick mobilisation / availability of funds (KfW’s disposition fund
procedure)
• Close cooperation with local and regional authorities, joint planning of
measures with Malian partners (“co-management”)
• “faire-faire”: involvement of local NGOs and consultants (employment)
• Proven delivery capacity in fragile northern and central Mali
Needs identified in the Government’s COVID-19 Action Plan (03/2020):
• Hydroalcoholic solution: 500.000 l; available: 600 l (0,12%); IPROs: 350 l
(0,07%)
• Gloves: 3.000.000; available: 2.651.781 (88%); IPROs: 30.000 (1%)
• Masks: 5.400.000; available: 600.000 (11%); IPROs: ~ 8.500 (0,16%)
