The need of innovation and knowledge as the most valuable asset in the processKoenraad Seys
The pressure is on innovative capacity. Everybody agrees. Trends indicate shorter product or service life cycles. Customer satisfaction is short lived. Earlier than ever they want something new. Building on experience or a long lasting competitive advantage is less an option. However innovation can only be realised and delivered with a motivated team of knowledgeable people having sufficient entrepreneurial blood so they want to go and explore. They will explore the fundamental needs of existing and potential customers, but also their capacity to be creative and learn new skills and techniques and optimise team interaction. Younger employees tend to have higher education than previous generations. They are skilled in new technology however lack experience.
Learning and knowledge exchange or sharing patterns will need an upgrade. Not only is experience still an asset, existing workforce will need to work longer careers than previous generations. Increasing age and life expectance, decreasing numbers of younger people will require all of us to make longer careers. Understanding added value of all team members will become key differentiator for teams, groups and companies to maintain their market postion. We summarised the reasons for investing in innovation, knowledge creation sharing and new approaches to come to products and services in a slide doc stuffed with facts and figures about the need for investing in what is most probably the strongest sustainable asset you will ever have.

The content analysis revealed usage patterns and identified tools, topics, and intensity of use, dialogical approaches and functions. An engagement index offered the possibility for ranking lists within the indices as well as among the different countries. Additionally, the influence of industrial sectors or sales markets was tested.

When Everyone Is A Designer: Practical Techniques for Ethical Design in the D...Joe Lamantia
Broad cultural and technological shifts are rapidly erasing the distinctions that separate the creators and users of social media. In this DIY future, when everyone is a designer, greater ethical challenges arise for all involved.
These ethical dilemmas come increasingly from three directions. First, from conflicts between ever larger and more diverse groups of social media stakeholders. Second, from new hybrids of product, service, and information blended into new forms such as smart objects and the SPIME, constructs which bridge the physical and virtual environments into transmedia contexts for creation and use. Third, the from the emergence of broadly available DIY (Do It Yourself) tools, infrastructure, and methods which hint at changes in the basic economic and production models underlying the origins of social media, software, and content.
In addition to throwing open the gates of the design citadel, these shifts change the role of designers from authors of point solutions to the creators of broad systems and frameworks used by others for their own expressive and functional goals. Both traditional design professionals, and the growing ranks of DIY designers, must be prepared to address the increased ethical complexity of the integrated experiences of the future.
This presentation will share practical suggestions for supporting the design and architecture of ethically sound social media by using familiar experience design methods and techniques.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Cracking the Workplace Discipline Code Main.pptxWorkforce Group
Cultivating and maintaining discipline within teams is a critical differentiator for successful organisations.

In this deck, you will learn the significance of workplace discipline for organisational success. You’ll also learn
• Four (4) workplace discipline methods you should consider
• The best and most practical approach to implementing workplace discipline.
• Three (3) key tips to maintain a disciplined workplace.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

DÍDAC LEE
FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Although it may seem incredible, the original idea for Zyncro started
back in 2001 with igente, a cloud-based intranet that didn’t prosper
with the fall of the Dotcoms. But Dídac wasn’t discouraged. Around
2008 he returned to the idea and created a file synchronizer that
provided cloud-based access to professional and personal
documents. However, the true potential of his solution wasn’t
discovered until September 2010 when he added a microblogging
wall to Zyncro, a totally innovative idea for a file
manager/synchronizer. At the same, the “social” face and 2.0 style
started to flood the web and it was then when it was decided to give
Zyncro the collaborative and communicative functions that make it
what it is today: an intranet 2.0 or an enterprise social network. This
journey for Zyncro is what Dídac Lee, founder of the Inspirit Group,
dubs the “journey across the desert” which all startups must endure!
LLUÍS FONT
FOUNDER AND CEO
Lluís has been creating intranets/extranets since the 90s, which at the
time was done with technologies that required hundreds of
development hours. When he took over as Managing Director of the
Internet consultancy Internet AGM, the company created an intranet
generator that enabled them to build intranets in record time, saving
customers time and money.
In 2002, as CEO of NTR he wanted to give a definitive boost to out-of-
the-box intranets and created Colaboris, one of the first full intranet on
the cloud. After two years’ struggle, the project was abandoned, NTR
products grew in sales and Colaboris met with resistance from systems
directors who saw it as a threat to their costly software investments,
which were slower and less functional, as the cloud era had not yet
arrived.
At the beginning of 2010, he met Dídac and started a conversation that
resulted in two entrepreneurs combining forces in October 2010.
With the incorporation of Lluís Font as CEO of Zyncro, Dídac Lee’s innovation was combined with Lluís’s
corporate expertise and execution, the business strategy and product definition were polished, and the
marketing and sales departments were redesigned, until making Zyncro what we are today!

Social Networks are seen to be

Internal communities act as a virtual forum for employees
within an enterprise to share their insights, interests and
contributions about a shared topic of interest. Internal
communities are aimed at participants outside the
organization, including customers, suppliers, partners.
Internal communities generally support loosely directed or
non-directed exploration of high-level shared interests,
rather than focusing on specific projects or operational
issues, which are better served by team work spaces or
specific applications.
External communities create virtual places for collaboration
among people and organizations in the market “ecosystem”
outside the enterprise, including prospects, customers, suppliers,
partners, influencers and even competitors, occasionally. People
participate in external communities because of common interests
and commitments. They develop trust within the community (or
leave). Participants can include employees from the sponsoring
enterprise who act on their own or with employer support, but
the bulk of participants (and the sense of community ownership)
comes from outside the enterprise.
