7. Our story started in the 1960’s in the rainforests of Borneo. One of our co-founders spent weeks trekking through the
jungles carrying out patrols. During these weeks he was not able to bathe or change clothes including his socks and
boots and began to think his feet would drop off from the blisters, sores and skin infections. Then something amazing
happened. He observed local villagers using pawpaw to treat all sorts of wounds and skin conditions - and it worked
with stunning results. He decided to try pawpaw on his own sores and infections, and not surprisingly it worked for
him also.
We learnt that cultures around the world had known about the special properties of pawpaw for centuries. The
ancient Mayans called pawpaw the“Tree of Life”, in Africa and the Caribbean it’s known as the“Medicine Tree”. They
didn’t need to know that pawpaw had high levels of vitamins A, C and E, antioxidants and enzymes, to know it
worked.
Determined to extract pawpaw’s natural and powerful properties for wider application and after years of research,
