Situation dialogues (บทสนทนาทีใชในชีวตประจําวัน)ฝรั่ง บทสนทนาที่ ิ เคาจะมีขนบธรรมเนียมในการใชคําพูด กริยามารยาทเหมือนที่คน ไทยมีนนแหละคะ พูดยังไงใหมมารยามและดุภาพที่สด เรามาดูแต ่ั ี ุ ละสถานการณกันดีกวานะ 1. การทักทายและการตอบรับการทักทาย(Greeting & ทาย( Responses) Responses) -การทักทายก็จะพูดวา สวัสดี มีหลายคําเชน good morning ,good afternoon ,good evening , Hello(ใชทักเฉพาะ เพื่อนสนิท) , Hi เมื่อสวัสดีแลวก็จะถามวา สบายดีไหม เชน How are you ? , How do you do ? (ใชกับคนเพิ่งรูจักกัน เปนครั้งแรก) , How have you been ? (ใชกับเพื่อนสนิทและไม เจอกันนาน) , How is everything with you ? , How is it going? , How are you doing? - การตอบรับคําทักทายก็จะตอบวา สบายดี เชน Fine , thank you , And you ? / I’m quite well , thank you ,And you ? / Very well , thank you , and you ? -การตอบวาไมสบาย เชน Not so well. I have a cold. , Not very well . I have a headache. เมื่อเราทราบวาคูสนทนาไม สบายใหพูดวา ฉันเสียใจทีไดยนเชนนัน เชน I’m sorry to ่ ิ ้ hear that , That’s too bad , I hope you feel better.
- 2. - การตอบวา ก็เรือยๆหรือ ก็อยางนันแหละ เชน So so , Not ่ ้ so bad , Nothing much parting) 2. การกลาวลา (parting) -เมื่อเราตองการกลาววา เห็นทีตองไปแลว หรือ เห็นทีจะตองรีบ ไป พูดวา I should be going now , Well. I really must be off now , Well. I’m afraid I have to go now. -การตอบรับการจากลา ใหพดวา Can’t you stay a little ู longer? จะอยูตออีกสักนิดไดไหม , So soon ? จะกลับเร็วแบบนี้ เหรอ , Good bye , All the best ขอใหโชคดี , Take care yourself ดูแลตัวเองดวย , See you then แลวพบกันใหม , See you later / So long แลวพบกันใหม , Take it easy ทําตัวตาม สบาย นอกจากนี้อาจจะพูดฝากความระลึกถึงไปยังครอบครัวผูสนทนา เชน Kind regards to your father ฝากความระลึกถึงพอคุณ ดวย , Say hello to John for me. ฝากสวัสดี จอหน ดวยนะ 3.การกลาวแสดงความยินดีและความปรารถนาดี การกล (Congratulations & Wishing) -การแสดงความยินดี ดีใจ พอใจทีเห็นคนอื่นเปนสุขหรือไดโชค ่ ลาภ เชน Congratulations to you on the birth of your son. ขอแสดงความยินดีที่ไดลูกชาย , Congratulations! ขอแสดงความ ยินดี
- 3. -การอวยพรใหโชคดี เชน Bestof Luck ขอใหโชคดี , Good luck โชคดีนะ -การอวยพรเกียวกับการเดินทาง เชน Enjoy yourself ขอให ่ สนุกนะ (ใชกับวัยเดียวกัน) , Bon voyage ! เดินทางโดยสวัสดิ ภาพนะ , Have a good trip , Have a good time -การอวยพรเนื่องในงานมงคลสมรส เชน I wish you every happiness ขอใหมีความสุขมากๆ , Best wishes for long and happy married life to you both ขอใหชีวิตแตงงานของคุณทั้ง สองยั่งยืนและมีความสุข -การอวยพรขึนบานใหม We wish you the best in your new ้ home. -การอวยพรขึนปใหม เชน Merry Christmas , Happy New Year ้ -การแสดงความดีใจเมื่อไดยนเรื่องที่นายินดีหรือขาวดีเชน Fine ! ิ ดีเลย , Good ! ดี , Splendid วิเศษ , Wonderful วิเศษ , Well done ดีมาก 4. การกลาวคําขอโทษ (Excuses & Apologies) - ถาเราบังเอิญฟงไมถนัดหรือไมไดยินในสิ่งที่เขาพูดใหใชคําขอ โทษนี้ I beg your pardon ? ขอโทษนะอีกที , Pardon? , Excuse me .What did you say? ขอโทษนะเธอพูดอะไรนะ , I’m afraid I didn’t catch what you say ฉันเกรงวาจะฟงคุณไมทัน , Again, please ? อีกครั้งนึง
- 4. -ถาเปนการทําความผิดรายแรง หรือทํารายจิตใจโดยไมไดต้งใจั ใหพูดวา Imust apologize to you for being late. จองขอโทษ ที่มาสาย , I’m sorry ฉันเสียใจมาก, Please excuse me ยกโทษ ใหฉันนะ - ถาเปนความผิดหรือการลวงเกินหรือทําความเสียหายทางวัตถุ เชน It was my careless. มันเปนความประมาทของฉันเอง , It was my fault. มันเปนความผิดฉันเอง , How clumsy of me! ฉัน ซุมซามจริงๆ -ถาจะตอบวา ไมเปนไร เชน Not at all , That’s all right , It doesn’t matter , I forgive you , Never mind 5.. การกลาวคําขอบคุณ (Expressing Thanks) Thanks) ขอบคุณ ถือเปนมารยาทที่ดมีหลายประโยค เชน Thank you very ี much , Thank you for your kindness , Thanks , Many thanks , Thanks a lot และตองตอบรับคําขอบคุณวา ไมเปนไร เชน You’re welcome , Don’t mention it , Not at all , It was a pleasure , My pleasure , No need to thanks , I’m glad to do it 6. การเสนอใหความชวยเหลือและการขอรับความอนุเคราะห favour) (Offering helping & Asking a favour) -การเสนอใหความชวยเหลือ มักจะถามวา มีอะไรใหชวยไหม เชน Is there anything I can do to help? , Can I help you ?
- 5. , Could Ihelp you ? และตองตอบรับเชน Yes , please.( ตองการใหชวย) , If you won’t mind.Thank you. (ถาคุณไม รังเกียจ ขอบคุณ) , Sure , That’s very kind of you.Thanks a lot (ชางเปนความกรุณาของคุณ ขอบคุณมาก) , I’d appreciate it. (ฉันมีความซาบซึ้งมาก) และหากจะปฏิเสธก็สามารถพูดวา I appreciate your offer but…..(ฉันซาบซึ้งการชวยเหลือของคุณแต…..) , That’s not necessary. (ไมจาเปน) , No , Thanks. I can manage. (ไมละ ํ ขอบคุณ ฉันสามารจัดการได) -การขอความอนุเคราะห มักถามวา คุณชวยฉันหนอยไดไหม เชน Would you please do me a favour? , May I beg a favour of you? , Would you do something for me? การตอบรับใหความ ชวยเหลือ มีดังนี้ Yes , you may, I’d glad to / Yes , all right , Certainly.if I can . O.K. , You can depend on me. เมื่อ เราขอแลวเขาตอบรับก็พูดขอบคุณ คนที่ชวยก็ตองตอบวา ไม เปนไร สวนการตอบปฏิเสธคําขอความชวยเหลือก็เชน I’m sorry but……………… , I can’t…….. , I’d rather not…………….. , Actually. I’d rather not. If you don’t mind. 7. การถามทาง (Asking for direction) คําถามที่ใชในการถามทางมีดังตอไปนี้ Would you please tell me how to get to…………?

Could you tellme where the……………….is , please? , Excuse me, Can you tell me the way to………? ถาเราบอกเสนทางไดใหตอบวา Yes , of course , Sure , Yes และบอกทิศทางหรือเสนทางทีจะไปเชน Go straight on เดินตรง ่ ไป , Follow this street เดินไปตามถนนนี้ , Turn left เลี้ยวซาย , Turn right เลี้ยวขวา , Go along the street , Down the street ในกรณีทเราไมสามารถบอกทางไดมีวิธีตอบดังนี้ I’m ี่ sorry.I’m a new comer here. ฉันขอโทษ ฉันเพิ่งมาอยูที่นี่ , I’m sorry.
