The FlowCoder SiPCPE Emulation tool set is the first of it's kind to
intelligently evaluate SIP protocol datagram's from the SIP Server
Infrastructure. It responds to all SIP compliant datagram's and
allows the user to insert negative responses to legal or illegal
datagram's sent from the SIP Servers/Devices. The CPE entity can
be configured to communicate with Audio, Video and Data Servers.
The CPE logs all events in various levels of detail for each
instantiated SiPCPE entity for different levels of analysis.
The power of the SiPCPE Emulation tool set approach to testing
SIP Device Infrastructure Compliance becomes apparent when
testing several different SIP Server devices from different vendors.
Since the SiPCPE emulates a true SIP CPE, there is no need to
modify any scripts or write any programs to accommodate basic
SIP Server functionality. Modifications are required only when
Overrides are needed during negative testing. This can be done by
just entering a GUI to change a state response. This
pending technology stores various test cases by easily saving the
test configurations. To rerun the test cases simply instantiate the
saved configuration files. Feature testing can be automated with
any scripting tool (i.e. TCL/TK, Expect, Perl, Python, etc.) Video
play and record features are available. SiPCPE is excellent for
laboratory as well as for the field.
