This document provides an orientation to the simulation center at Central Texas College's Department of Nursing. It includes an overview of the standard equipment available in the simulation center, such as beds, manikins, medical supplies and technology. It also includes a map of the simulation center and descriptions of the different simulation rooms for medical surgical wards, ICU, emergency room, operating room, home health, pediatrics and isolation, labor and delivery, control room and storage. Videos are linked to demonstrate how to use some of the high-fidelity manikins and equipment. Contact information is provided for the simulation coordinator, lab manager and computer lab manager for any additional questions.
