• A strong message should clearly show who you are, what
you’re about, and how you help your customers.
• Focus on outcomes rather than process i.e. don’t explain
what you do, instead choose a common problem you know
they have and say how you fix it.
• We can have multiple variations of our message which will
depend on the next part of the equation…
Be specific in your target audience
• Stop this ‘spray and pray’ approach
• Take the time to segment your audience, really understand
who they are and how your product or service helps them
• Create a specific message that speaks directly to them
Identify your channels & tactics
• Now you have your message and know exactly who you’re
going to say it to; where are you going to put it?
• Where does this audience hang out?
• What’s your focus? (LinkedIn, email, ads)
• Don’t overcomplicate your strategy
• Focus on a few channels that work for you and your
audience – you don’t need to be on everything to be
successful!
• It’s easier to start small and scale with success
Don’t forget to nurture
• Now you’ve spoken to your audience, and delivered the
message in the right place, we have another hill to climb…
• Are they ready? Perhaps not 
• So, we nurture! Don’t discard and chase net new every time. It’s
exhausting.
• Nurture those in your database and your network.
• Create content that educates and informs… stop selling.
• Create your sequence and use automations and integrations to
help take the heavy lifting out of this.
• Connections + Conversations = Conversions.

Get clear on your message • A strong message should clearly show who you are, what you’re about, and how you help your customers. • Focus on outcomes rather than process i.e. don’t explain what you do, instead choose a common problem you know they have and say how you fix it. • We can have multiple variations of our message which will depend on the next part of the equation…
  • 7. Be specific in your target audience • Stop this ‘spray and pray’ approach • Take the time to segment your audience, really understand who they are and how your product or service helps them • Create a specific message that speaks directly to them

Identify your channels & tactics • Now you have your message and know exactly who you’re going to say it to; where are you going to put it? • Where does this audience hang out? • What’s your focus? (LinkedIn, email, ads) • Don’t overcomplicate your strategy • Focus on a few channels that work for you and your audience – you don’t need to be on everything to be successful! • It’s easier to start small and scale with success
  • 9. Don’t forget to nurture • Now you’ve spoken to your audience, and delivered the message in the right place, we have another hill to climb… • Are they ready? Perhaps not  • So, we nurture! Don’t discard and chase net new every time. It’s exhausting. • Nurture those in your database and your network. • Create content that educates and informs… stop selling. • Create your sequence and use automations and integrations to help take the heavy lifting out of this. • Connections + Conversations = Conversions.
