Should you be unable to attend the auction

you to bid live. On the day of the sale, a
member of the Silverstone Auctions team will
contact you, usually a few lots prior to your
selected lots, and will guide you through the

Welcome
We’re excited to be making our return to the NEC for a seventh year running at the
Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show. This weekend’s two-day auction is sure to be
a fitting finale to the 2018 auction season, and with more than 72,000 visitors set to
attend the show, this fantastic event is getting bigger and better every year.
This weekend’s sale certainly promises to be an exciting one, with a wide range of
incredible classics on offer spanning 91 years and ranging from iconic celebrity-owned
classics from the garages of Jay Kay, Jenson Button, Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen
to the most iconic sports and super cars of all time. At Silverstone Auctions we pride
ourselves on bringing ‘best-of-breed’ cars to auction and we hope you agree that the
vehicles on offer do this justice.
We also have a fantastic selection of watches, lifestyle items and automobilia for
auction if you’re looking for something a bit smaller to take home, or an early
Christmas gift!

Key Sale Information
Please note that due to venue restrictions we need to be clear
of the venue by midday on Monday 12th November.
BUYER’S PREMIUM
Buyer’s premium on motor vehicles is 15% (including VAT at 20%)
and on automobilia and watches is 24% (including VAT at 20%).
PAYMENTS
All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 12th November.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or by debit or credit card
in person. Please note we only accept debit card payments up to a
maximum of £20,000, credit card payments up to a maximum of
£5,000 and cash payments up to a maximum of £5,000.
Bank transfers actioned over the weekend will not show in our account
until Monday morning.
COLLECTION
Full payment must be received by SA before any item is available
for release.
All motor vehicles must be collected before Midday on Monday
12th November from Hall 2, The NEC, Birmingham B40 1NT.
Any motor vehicles not collected will be taken to secure storage by
E.M. Rogers for £175 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus
VAT per day from Monday 12th November onwards.
Any automobilia lots not collected will be sent to the buyer at the
buyer’s expense or can be collected by prior arrangement from our
office in Ashorne.
Watches must be collected before 5pm on Sunday 11th November.
Any watches not collected will be sent to the buyer at the buyer’s
expense (£15 per watch in the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery) or
can be collected by prior arrangement from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Godwin Model P.1 ‘skeleton’ petrol pump.
An early hand-wound Godwin model P.1 ‘Skeleton’ type petrol
pump. Finished to a high standard in deep blue paint with
cast brand plaque for Dominion Spirit. This pump has been
completely stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt, with a new
rubber hose, hand-turned wooden handle and plinth base.
Riva ‘Typhoon’ 1/10 scale model.
The Typhoon was specially built for Edsel Ford to race,
although he never raced it and it was sold to Howard
Hughes. A unique piece of Riva history, plank on plank
construction, length 90cm complete with stand and in
as-new condition.

most memorable on- and off-track moments in F1 history.

Rob Walker’s Mercedes-Benz 300SL luggage.
Travelling case used in Rob’s personal 1954 Mercedes-
Benz 300SL. Rob Walker ran his privateer Racing team in

COA signed by Rob’s son, Robbie Walker.

with box, guarantee/warranty booklet with spare bracelet

BUYER’S PREMIUM Buyer’s premium on motor vehicles is 15% (including VAT at 20%) and on automobilia and watches is 24% (including VAT at 20%). PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 12th November. Payment can be made by bank transfer or by debit or credit card in person. Please note we only accept debit card payments up to a maximum of £20,000, credit card payments up to a maximum of £5,000 and cash payments up to a maximum of £5,000. Bank transfers actioned over the weekend will not show in our account until Monday morning. COLLECTION Full payment must be received by SA before any item is available for release. All motor vehicles must be collected before Midday on Monday 12th November from Hall 2, The NEC, Birmingham B40 1NT. Any motor vehicles not collected will be taken to secure storage by E.M.
