Being a fast-paced song, we
  decided that the video will
reflect this. This meant that we
would have to have a variety of
shots that were cut quickly and
       edited accordingly.
Extreme close-ups shows information
 about the character’s appearance.
Also show the audience small details
    about the character on screen
In a close-up, a certain feature or part of
the subject takes up the whole frame,
  giving the audience information about
               the character.
Regular close-ups help the audience to
identify with the character and the
idea/image/emotion they are portraying.
Mid-shots show some part of
the subject in less detail than a
     close-up, but gives an
   impression of the whole
            subject.
In wide shots the subject takes
up the full frame, or at least as
 much as comfortably possible
whilst showing detail about the
         surroundings.
The subject is visible but the
  emphasis is on placing
      him/her in the
       environment.
