As a STSH 2014 scholar of Central Council of Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, I felt that BHMS student all over India should know about this project and more Research minded students should apply for this...so its a little try to motivate them with all the information about the program.
UG Research scope for BHMS Students - student motivation & information

2. What is STSH
•The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) has
initiated the Short Term Studentship in Homoeopathy (STSH)
Program in order to promote interest and aptitude for research
among homoeopathic undergraduates.
•This is a Period of Research is 6 month and the program takes total
9 months to complete from June-March and with announcement of
Final results approx. 12 months.
3. A Successful journey of 4 years
•In 2014 CCRH First announced STSH
•After that it is running successfully, the 4th batch of 2017 submitted
their thesis.
•On 10th April 2018 all 2016 Scholars got awarded and scholars of 1st
3 batches had presented their Research in Vigyan Bhawan, New
Delhi.
•Registration for the 5th batch for 2018 will start in this June.
4. ELIGIBILITY
• 1. This program is only for undergraduate Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
students before they appear in their final exams and therefore, interns/ PG students are not eligible to
apply.
• 2. The student must carry out the research in his/ her own medical college under the guide who is
employed in the medical college as a faculty. Only permanent full time faculty members working in any
of the Department of the Medical College where the student is enrolled can act as the guide. Part time
consultants/visiting faculty/ residents/ Tutors/ PG students cannot be the guide.
• 3. Only one student will be allowed to work under one guide. Two or more are not permitted to work on
the same topic together. Proposals submitted on the same topic by different students are liable to be
rejected outright. The student may have one Guide and other Co-Guides. However, CCRH will
recognize only ONE main Guide for all purposes.
• 4. Only Indian National students who are studying in recognized homeopathic medical colleges of India
can apply. NRI's & Students from foreign institutes are not eligible for this program.

• First think in calm mind that what type of Research you want
to do and which are your area of interest then write down all
topics come in your mind, ask Google and then take help of
Guide & Advisory board to finalize
• Write a proper proposal mentioning in details what you want to
do
• Do Screening in each OPD, if not sufficient do outside Camps
and take those patients to OPD
• Do counselling of patient and the guardian
• CCRH mentioned college should borne the all expenses
• Give 1st important to study, don’t get hurried & haphazard,
give everyday 1 hour in OPD & 1 hour in night to sum up the
work and be Creative, Scientific, Rational & Honest.
