view of the cover on how the war has impacted the American industry. During the time of the war,
many able bodied men were either getting trained or in combat and with the high demand of
labor for war industries, many women for the first time have entered the work force performing

their lunch breaks, the interesting part is how they re being represented. In one side we see the

swimming or anything that has to with keeping our hands in water for a while. Six cut pairs of
dialysis tubing (12 cm) were placed in water for five minutes so that it would form. After it was
done forming, we filled it with three different types of NaCl concentrationsolutions,(1%,10%, and
50%). We placed the six different dialysis tubing filled with the solutions and placed it into the
400 mL beakers with either the 1%, 10%, or 50% for forty minutes. At the end we calculated the
weight difference of each dialysis tube to determine how water moves across the skin when soaked
in water.

This research used company visits, over 60 semi structured interviews with selected practising

Spain. Managers were selected by interview from a wide variety of Spanish businesses. The aim

sample included companies with various forms of governance. With the importance of the state

number of family owned large and medium sized businesses, it was important to include companies

companies, Spanish owned regional companies, and Foreign owned MNCs. The emphasis was on
the manufacturing industry. This is primarily because these companies are strategically placed

Tragic heroes are not symbols of virtue nor possess any significant evil, yet their flaws are
magnified by the power they hold. Most individuals in society do not seek to bring harm to
others. Their intentions are based on their principles of righteousness and doctrine, and these
individuals can often be great leaders who are forced to make difficult decisions. However, even
the most honor bound persons can be greatly influenced by the sin of pride; which can lead to the
suffering of others. In the play Antigone by Sophocles, Creon punishes Antigone for defying him.
This is not because Creon is evil, moreso because he justifies them as beneficial.Sophocles intends
to create an Aristotelian tragedy; using Creon as the tragic hero, in conjunction with supporting
thematic expressions shown throughout the play such as power and morality. Creon becomes the

The Success Of Lincoln s Presidency
Throughout the history of mankind, there have been many influential leaders who have helped
to change the course of history for the better. Many of these leaders have faced incredible
challenges and overcome them despite facing seemingly insurmountable odds. On top of the
challenges faced, some leaders have had to overcome physical and mental disabilities. These
disabilities, while seemingly detrimental to a leader, have not always been a hindrance and have
even at times been a significant factor in their success. One of the most notable of these leaders
is United States President Abraham Lincoln. During Lincoln s life he suffered with episodes of
severe depression which continued into his presidency, a presidency that was plagued with
perhaps the greatest challenge in the history of our country, the Civil War. This battle with
depression, while challenging, also gave Lincoln wisdom in decision making and was one of the
contributing factors to the success of Lincoln s presidency. In order to understand the possible
ramifications that depression could play in the president s life we first need to understand mental
disorders and what they are. Mental illness can be defined as a health condition that changes a
person s thinking, feelings, or behavior or all three and that causes the person distress and difficulty
in functioning (Sutton 3). These mental disorders can vary in severity in each individual case from

Rhetorical Analysis September 11th, 2001 left a huge impact on people s lives all over the
country. Michael Burke, a wall street journalist, discusses 9/11 in the article, No Firemen at
Ground Zero This 9/11? . He expresses the bravery the first responders showed on the tragedy of 9
/11. On the 10th anniversary, the firemen were not invited to ground zero to watch the remembrance
ceremony. The committee that puts on the ceremony sent invitations to politicians, but not the
firefighters who put their lives on the line to save others. They were told they could watch on TV
instead. Burke is trying to show the businessmen of New York about how wrong not inviting the
first responders was, he does this with his descriptive narrative and organizational structure.
Imagery, initially, supports Burke s use of narrative in his piece. Burke forces the audienceto
picture the traumatic events that occurred that day and how they felt watching it unfold. Burke
uses descriptive words and phrases such as: bodies charred, bodies rained down, and they
exploded (4). These words help emphasize the horrible scene that was happening right in front of
their eyes. Citizens watched as workers jump out of the towers, choosing to commit suicide instead
of being crushed by falling the debris. These short phrases brings them to the images of bodies,
dead and destroyed, laying on the street. Additionally, he uses short one sentencelines to show what
the first responders sacrificed on 9/11.
