2. • Create a short movie preferably inspirational
from the following Social Issues in the Philippines.
– Gender
– Poverty
– Climate Change
– Education
– Peace and Justice
• The short movie should emphasize the importance of
Information, Technology and Media Literacy
3. • The length of the short movie should not be more
than 20 minutes but not less than 15 minutes
(this already includes titles, credits and bloopers).
• Short movie can be in any language/local dialect
but to provide an English subtitle is an advantage.
• Short movie must be completely original, owned,
and recorded by the student including the
sound/music used and should not infringe on any
copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
4. • The criteria for judging are as follows:
– Composition- 30%
Film shall consistently show excellent and
creative visual through camera angling, shot-
framing, lighting, audio-timing, and special effects.
– Relevance to the chosen Social Issue-20%
The narrative/story telling shall flow seamlessly
with compelling and interesting delivery of the
chosen social issues.
5. • The criteria for judging are as follows:
– Creativity-20%
Film shall convey the idea/messaging in an
imaginative way.
– Originality-20%
The personal originality and technique shall be
showcased to influence the community.
– Inspirational Power-10%
Film shall evoke emotion from the viewers and leave
inspiration for them to take action for the betterment of
all.
