February 2000. Title of Doctoral Thesis: “POLICY AS TEXT AND AS PRACTICE. Analysis of the
concept of equivalence in the Swedish education reformin the 1990’sin regard to compulsory
school.” Department of Education. Thesis research subjects:Children’s rights in Education, Law and
school contexts for Equity, Equality, Diversity and Free Choice, Education Policy and Intertextuality
Present position:Senior lecturer (in Swedish: Högskolelektor) Department of Education, Uppsala
University, from July 2005 - Member of the Education Faculty Council, Uppsala university 2011-2017
I am assistant supervisor for Ph D student Janne Kontio since 2011. Janne is working on a dissertation
on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) teaching in English at secondary vocational
programs. The thesis is written in English highlights interesting questions about the implementation
of EU direct eagerness on the classroom level and design of vehicles program students' identity.
I have also been teething end supervisor for guest Ph D student Jesus Manso from the Universidad
Autonoma de Madrid during the period September-December 2011. Jesus had the doctoral
dissertation on teacher education reform in Spain in September 2012.
Gest teacher at the Master of Social Education, Department of Education Granada university
from 2012.
