Guadalupe Francia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Uppsala University since 2009. Her research focuses on education policies related to equity, justice, social sustainability, and children's rights. She received her PhD in Education from Stockholm University in 2000. Francia currently serves as an assistant supervisor for a PhD student and has previously supervised other PhD students. She has participated in several research projects related to education policies and children's rights. Francia has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences on topics such as the impacts of individualization on equity policies and a child perspective on bullying in Swedish boarding schools.
