This document describes a proposed shopping application to help foreign people in Aizu, Japan. The application would scan product barcodes and provide translations of item information and descriptions into multiple languages. It would also provide sightseeing information in Aizu translated into other languages. The goal is to make shopping and sightseeing in Aizu easier for foreigners by addressing current issues like an inability to understand product information or location details due to the foreign language barrier. The application plans to use existing open data sets as well as barcode and translation APIs. With more data added over time, it aims to significantly improve the shopping and travel experience for international visitors to Aizu.

They have trouble when the shopping (They can’t
understand Japanese writing).
The don’t know where they should go for sightseeing.
I surveyed from international students and teachers.

Translate the item information from JAN code.
Tell you the sightseeing information in Aizu.

17. FUTURE
If we register more item of supermarket and souvenir
store information, it will be easy for foreign people to
go to shopping.
If we collect data from reference log, we can make
more benefit for store and people.

together. (Citizen don’t have to register in English
because the application has translation function.)
