Servant leadership is a philosophy and sets of practices that enriches the lives of individuals, build better organisations and ultimately creates a more just and caring work.
The servant leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to server, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to inspire to lead.
The leader first and the servant first are two extreme types. Between them there are shading and blends that are part of the infinite variety of human nature.
Given the evidence that the key engagement factors are intrinsic and comes from within the individuals, the servant leadership is the way for leading the new workforce.
The different manifest itself in the care taken but the servant first to make sure that other people’s highest priority needs are being served.
The best test and difficult to administer, is: Do those served, grow as a person? Do they, while being served become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? People themselves have the drive to do a good job and attend to customer and client needs. In fact, they are motivated by those factors.
A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. While traditional leadership generally involved in accumulation and exercise of power by one at the top of the pyramid, servant leadership is different. T
he servant leader share the power, puts the needs of others first and help people develop and perform as highly as possible.

It discusses how setting up a review case early allows for alleviating last-minute rushing. Hands-on exercises will demonstrate keeping existing work product centralized in Ipro Review throughout the litigation lifecycle. Features like simplified workflows, mobility, and robust trial preparation tools avoid the need for additional software while maintaining all data in one place.
Clipper - enhancing time-based media for researchJisc
The document discusses Clipper, a tool to enhance research of time-based media like video and audio. Clipper allows users to select portions of media as "virtual clips", add annotations, and combine clips and annotations into playlists called "cliplists". A team from Glasgow College and Open University is developing Clipper using open web standards to allow researchers to collaboratively analyze, code, and share portions of media without copying full files. The tool is being designed for sustainability through open source development and an engaged user community.
